Another week has passed since we had an interruption in our journey as a community. I stopped following the developments of the witch hunt that shook up users and communities. This is very stressful.

For my part, I ended up accepting that HIVE is the same as everywhere else: those with the most power decide the global direction.

When our founder decided to step away from HIVE, I considered several possibilities, each more inconvenient than the last. I abandoned all ideas. The only thing I did in practice was to withdraw some of my delegations to projects, which includes my mother project HIVE-BR, thus reducing my participation and regaining power in my account.

I also decided to sell some second layer tokens, from hive-engine, and took the entire swap-hive out of the ecosystem. A paltry amount, 700 units, but symbolic. Imagine if all users took part of their assets to the market, what would happen to the value of the token? It would melt!

Now I have more money available for my fun in the financial market. I operate via Binance, and I know that many could come here and complain about the brokerage. But that's how I started and how I got here, through Binance I bought my first HIVE, and then bought DEC and thus invested in #splinterlands. So for me it's a natural path.

These days I've been analyzing the need to create a MetaMask or Coingeko wallet to use for other purposes, since I don't have anything in that sense. I ended up giving up because I don't have enough experience in either of them.

Passou mais uma semana desde que tivemos uma interrupção em nossa caminhada enquanto comunidade. Deixei de acompanhar os desdobramentos da caça às bruxas que movimentou usuários e comunidades. Isso é muito estressante.

De minha parte acabei por aceitar que a HIVE é igual a todos os lugares: os que tem mais poder decidem os rumos globais.

Quando nosso fundador decidiu se afastar da HIVE eu cogite várias possibilidades, uma mais inconveniente que a outra. Abandonei todas as ideias. A única coisa que fiz na prática foi recolher algumas das minhas delegações para projetos, o que inclui meu projeto mãe HIVE-BR, reduzindo assim minha participação e retomando poder em minha conta.

Também decidi vender alguns tokens de segunda camada, da hive-engine, e levei todo o swap-hive para fora do ecossistema. Uma quantia irrisória, de 700 unidades, porém simbólica. Imagine se todos os usuário levassem parte dos seus ativos para o mercado, o que aconteceria com o valor do token? Iria derreter!

Agora tenho mais uma quantia disponível para minha brincadeira no marcado financeiro. Eu opera via Binance, e sei que vários poderiam vir aqui e reclamar da corretora. Mas é como comecei e como cheguei aqui, através da Binance eu comprei meu primeiro HIVE, para depois comprar DEC e assim investir em #splinterlands. Então para mim é um caminho natural.

Esses dias estive analisando a necessidade de criar uma carteira metamask ou coingeko para utilizar para outros fins, já que não tenho nada nesse sentido. Acabei desistindo por não ter experiência suficiente em nenhuma das duas.
