Without a doubt: if I had the opportunity to dedicate an entire month to learning something new, I would certainly like to learn programming!

I really like technology, I always have, and one of the possibilities I had when I was deciding which college to attend was to choose the IT field. Since in the 2000s this field was relatively new in my region, the courses were scarce. I don’t know if it was strategy or what, but I ended up choosing another major and never thought about it again.

Until today...

Recently I found myself reflecting on my past steps and realized that I could have followed another career and certainly would be doing well working in IT. It would have been an early entry and I might even have caught opportunities for exponential growth. Well, that remained only in the realm of possibilities. What can we do now?

I believe that an intensive programming course could put me at an initial level very quickly. Of course, it requires a total immersion structure, which ensures focus and accelerated development. But how much is it really possible to advance from scratch in just thirty days?

At first, we might think it’s something unattainable. But wait: let's combine two important things. One ace up the sleeve that should be considered by anyone is the reality of artificial intelligence. Today I can program without actually knowing how to program. I ask, give commands, and an AI agent does the coding for me. This is not knowledge, nor is it understanding the complexities of the profession. But the end product can be similar, so it's something to consider.

Another fundamental issue is how and who would organize this type of intensive course. The teaching approach, methodology, and practice are crucial for meaningful and relevant learning. I remember in my first basic computer course, we learned how to change the wallpaper. That’s irrelevant. I remember my first computer science class in school had long hours of theory lectures. That’s not meaningful. Likewise, the course’s teaching method needs to be current, dynamic, and smart.

Once I learned programming, I could dedicate myself to producing apps, for example, to meet companies’ needs, as a complement to their products and customer relations. Or the app itself could be a product, being marketed and generating value for what it delivers.

Putting it all together, I believe that by finding a good course, a good instructor, and associating it with the use of AI tools, I could deliver products within a month. I think it’s entirely possible for me to deliver results in the first month, and over time, through practice, I would certainly refine my work and accumulated knowledge.

This could be a revolution!
Who knows, maybe this idea will leave the paper and become reality?

Sem sombra de dúvidas: se eu tivesse a oportunidade de me dedicar durante um mês inteiro para aprender algo novo, certamente eu gostaria de aprender a programar!

Eu gosto muito de tecnologia, sempre gostei, e uma das possibilidades que eu tive quando estava decidindo qual faculdade fazer foi optar pela área de informática. Como nos anos 2000 essa área era relativamente nova na minha região, os cursos eram escassos. Não sei se foi uma estratégia ou o que, mas acabei optando por outro curso, e nunca mais pensei nisso.

Até os dias atuais...

Recentemente fiquei refletindo sobre meus passos do passado e pensei que eu poderia ter seguido outra carreira e certamente estaria bem trabalhando na área de informática. Teria sido um ingresso precoce e talvez até teria pego oportunidades de crescimento exponencial. Bom, isso ficou apenas no mundo das possibilidades. O que podemos fazer no agora?

Eu acredito que um curso intensivo de programação possa me colocar num patamar inicial muito rapidamente. É claro que é necessário uma estrutura de imersão total, o que garante foco e desenvolvimento acelerado. Mas quanto realmente é possível avançar saindo do zero em apenas trinta dias?

A princípio podemos pensar que se trata de algo inatingível. Mas calma: vamos agregar duas coisas importantes: Uma carta na manga que deve ser considerada por qualquer pessoa é a realidade da inteligência artificial. Hoje eu consigo programar sem saber, de fato, realizar a programação. Eu peço, dou comandos, e um agente de inteligência artificial realiza a codificação para mim. Isso não é saber, tampouco é entender as complexidades da profissão. Mas o produto final pode ser semelhante, então é algo a se considerar.

Outra questão fundamental é como e quem organizaria esse tipo de curso intensivo. A didática, a metodologia e a prática são fundamentais para um aprendizado significativo e relevante. Lembro que no meu primeiro curso de informática básica, nós aprendemos a trocar o papel de parede. Isso é irrelevante. Lembro que minha primeira disciplina de informática na escola teve aulas teóricas por longas horas. Isso não é significativo. Da mesma forma a didática do curso precisa ser atual, dinâmica e inteligente.

Uma vez aprendendo programação poderia me dedicar a produzir aplicativos, por exemplo, atendendo necessidade de empresas, como um complemento aos seus produtos e suas relações com seus clientes. Ou o próprio aplicativo poderia ser um produto, sendo comercializado e gerando valor pelo que ele entrega.

Juntando as coisas, eu acredito que encontrando um bom curso, um bom instrutor, e associando ao uso de ferramentas de inteligência artificial eu poderia conseguir entregar produtos dentro de um mês. Acho que é plenamente possível eu entregar resultados já no primeiro mês, e ao longo da prática certamente iria refinando meu trabalho e conhecimento acumulado.

Isso pode ser uma revolução!
