EN-ES-PT Motivational Monday: starting a degree

In my last visits here I ended up reporting somewhat sad facts. These are the pains of writing on Community Themed Thursday. Talk-it-out is without a doubt my favorite day, at the same time that it brings different sensations every time I write.

A couple of weeks ago, we said goodbye to graduating students.
Today, we welcomed the freshmen.

The proximity of the closing and beginning dates of this cycle, which is the higher education course, makes the symbolism even greater.

I remember well that at a past event I stayed until the end of the farewell ceremony where after all the graduates left, the stage was empty. The photo still haunts me sometimes.

Yes, it haunts. I think this fits well with the end of the cycle.

Likewise, I'm at the new students' reception ceremony, and because I arrived early, the chairs are also empty.

Curious how the beginning and end of the cycle are the same.

Emotions also repeat themselves, I believe.

Anxiety, fear of what is to come, breaking away from the comfort zone. Many others should stand out, I just don't remember my own experience anymore, so I'm reading the signs I see in those who are living in the moment today.

Starting a degree in engineering is a challenge, no one would disagree. It takes many years of hard mental work to achieve excellence and receive professional attribution, being qualified to judge changes in reality and receiving responsibility for them.

Design, implement, maintain and redesign.

A long cycle that repeats itself throughout the history of humanity even before knowledge was organized in the way we know it today. You see the world as it is today, the way it was changed by those who came before you, and you have the chance to change how things are done.

Whether through new equipment, a machine, a revolutionary invention, or improvements to existing processes.

Engineering life into the world around us, whatever the area.
And learning to act in this world is the still unknown objective for those who start today by taking the first step.

In Brazil, this journey lasts five years. The time is regulated by the Ministry of Education, the government body that regulates education at all levels.

There is a minimum curriculum that must be met by all courses that have the same name, after which there is a significant number of subjects that can be customized by the institution that offers the course, thus giving your profile for that degree.

Em minhas últimas passagens por aqui acabei relatando fatos um tanto tristes. São as dores de escrever na quinta-feira temática da comunidade. Talk-it-out é sem sombra de dúvidas meu dia preferido, ao mesmo tempo que trás diferentes sensações a cada vez que escrevo.

Um par de semanas atrás, nos despedidos dos alunos graduandos.
Hoje, recebemos os calouros.

A proximidade das datas de encerramento e início deste ciclo que é o curso superior faz com que a simbologia seja ainda maior.

Lembro bem que em evento passado fiquei até o final da cerimônia de despedida onde após todos os egressos irem embora, o palco ficou vazio. A foto ainda me assombra as vezes.

Sim, assombra. Acho que isso combina bem com o final do ciclo.

Da mesma forma, estou na cerimônia de recepção dos novos alunos, e por ter chegado cedo, as cadeiras também estão vazias.

Curioso como o início e o fim do ciclo são iguais.

As emoções também se repetem, acredito.

A ansiedade, o medo do que está por vir, a ruptura com a zona de conforto. Muitas outras devem se destacar, só não lembro mais da minha própria experiência, então estou lendo os sinais que vejo em quem esta vivendo o momento hoje.

Iniciar uma graduação na área de engenharia é um desafio, não há quem discorde. São muitos anos de trabalho mental árduo para que se alcance a excelência e receba a atribuição profissional, sendo qualificado para julgar modificações na realidade e recebendo a responsabilidade por elas.

Projetar, implementar, manter e reprojetar.

Um ciclo longo que se repete ao longo da história da humanidade mesmo antes do conhecimento estar organizado da forma como conhecemos hoje. Você vê o mundo como está hoje, da forma como foi modificado pelos que vieram antes de você, e tem a chance de modificar como as coisa são feitas.

Seja através de um equipamento novo, uma máquina, uma invenção revolucionária, ou por aprimoramentos em processos já existentes.

A engenharia da vida ao mundo que nos cerca, seja na área que for.
E aprender a atuar sobre esse mundo é o objetivo ainda desconhecido para aqueles que começam hoje dando o primeiro passo.

No Brasil, essa caminhada dura cinco anos. O tempo é regulado pelo Ministério da Educação, órgão governamental regulador do ensino em todos os níveis.

Existe um currículo mínimo que deve ser atendido por todos os cursos que possuem a mesma denominação, depois disso sobre uma quantidade significativa de disciplinas que podem ser personalizadas pela instituição que oferece o curso, dando assim o seu perfil para aquela graduação.
