Another pleasant surprise after changing suppliers! I found yet another quality product. This time,

Pionero is a wine produced in Chile by the group Morandé – Valle del Maule. I had to look up some information about the other side of the mountain (I’m on the Atlantic Ocean side, and they are on the Pacific side). According to information from the Morandé winery:

Morandé owns vineyards in an area closer to the Andes Mountains, where the soils are alluvial-colluvial and rich in clay. This, combined with the temperatures of the area—milder due to the altitude—has allowed the vineyard to develop an important variety of white and red grapes.

Exploring the Cabernet Sauvignon grape, the idea is to try new blends to produce wines with personality. It seems to have worked—I loved this label and will definitely buy more!

We are not experts, and we enjoy the search for better value for money!

Origin: Chile.

Color: deep red.

Aroma: notes of dark fruits.

Flavor: chocolate and coffee.

Mais uma agradável surpresa ao mudar de fornecedor! Encontrei mais um produto de qualidade. Dessa vez

Pionero* é um Vinho produzido no Chile, pelo grupo Morande - Valle del Maule. Precisei buscar informações a respeito do lado de lá da montanha (estou na região do oceano atlântico, e eles estão na região do pacífico). De acordo com informação da vinícola Morande:

Morandé possui vinhedos em uma área mais próxima da Cordilheira dos Andes, onde os solos são aluvionares-coluviais e há muita argila. Isto, somado às temperaturas desta zona, que são mais amenas devido à altitude, permitiram à vinha desenvolver uma importante variedade de uvas brancas e tintas.

Explorando a uva Carbenet Souvignon, a ideia é tentar novas combinações para produzir vinhos com identidade. Parece que deu certo, eu adorei esse rótulo e vou comprar mais!

We also love Italian food! This Saturday we went to a wonderful restaurant and tried some risottos! We love pasta and in that regard, Italians are the best!
