Friendlymoose Photo Contest: Farm Animals
This post is my entry for the photography contest promoted by @friendlymoose, whose theme this week is [animals]. It's a really cool theme, as I believe it would be easy for us to find good photos. In my case, I managed to take some photos near my children's school, but I'll explain better a little later.
For those who want to participate and don't already know, a new theme is proposed every Sunday and, like this week, we have the opportunity to tell a little about the story of our chosen photograph. The Cow and Horse Farm
Recently, my family and I moved to a smaller city, and for my children, it's always another challenge to adjust to the new school, the new city, and new experiences. Interestingly, my youngest son's school has a farm, and we have to pass by it every day.
I was lucky enough to see some cows very close to the fence. I didn't think twice and stopped to take some pictures. My cell phone isn't very good and I don't have a camera, but I still managed to capture some moments.
When I was younger, I always imagined that one day I would have a farm where I would take care of cattle and chickens, and I can say that I almost fulfilled that dream when I got married and even bought a pregnant cow and a goat. But at the time, the place where I kept those animals belonged to my father-in-law, and he had to sell everything, so I couldn't pursue that dream.
Years later, I've realized that this dream of having a farm is currently unattainable for me, but I'm at peace with it. In life, we do what we can, and seeing some farms makes me think a little about the dream I couldn't fulfill. However, I will never stop finding it cool to pass by these places and admire these animals.
The curious thing is that it gets quite hot in the afternoon, and most of the time you see the cows under the trees seeking shelter in the shade. Here where I live it gets quite hot at this time of year, but as December approaches, the weather will become more pleasant.

É um tema bem legal, pois acredito que seria algo fácil para nós encontrarmos boas fotos. No meu caso, consegui tirar algumas fotos perto da escola do meu filhos, mas explicarei melhor um pouco mais adiante.

A Fazenda de Vacas e Cavalos
Recentemente eu e minha família nos mudamos para uma cidade menor e para meus filhos, é sempre mais um desafio se acostumar com a nova escola, nova cidade e novas vivências. Curiosamente, a escola do meu filho mais novo tem uma fazenda e todos os dias a gente tem que passar por lá.
Tive sorte de ver algumas vacas bem próximas a cerca. Não pensei duas vezes então parei para tirar algumas fotos. O meu celular não é tão bom e não tenho câmera fotográfica, mesmo assim conseguir registrar alguns momentos.
Quando eu era mais novo, sempre imaginava que um dia eu teria uma fazenda onde eu cuidaria do gado, das galinhas e posso dizer que eu quase realizei esse sonho quando me casei e até cheguei a comprar uma vaca gravida e uma cabra, mas na época, o lugar onde eu deixava esses animais era do meu sogro e ele teve que vender tudo e então não pude levar esse sonho para frente.
Passados os anos, vi que esse sonho de ter uma fazenda para mim atualmente é algo inalcançável, mas estou tranquilo enquanto a isso. Na vida a gente faz o que pode e poder ver algumas fazendas me faz pensar um pouco no sonho que eu não consegui realizar. Porém, nunca vou deixar de achar legal passar por esses lugares e admirar esses bichos.
O curioso é que a tarde faz bastante calor e na maioria das vezes a gente ver as vacas debaixo das arvores para se abrigarem nas sombras. Aqui onde moro faz bastante calor nessa época do ano, mas como dezembro está chegando, o clima vai ficar mais agradável.
Espero que tenham gostado. Essa foi minha entrada para o concurso. Fazia um bom tempo que não participava, mas vai ser legal voltar a ser mais um participante.
