Changing Strategies: Every Day is Power UP Day

One of the things I know here in the Hive ecosystem is that there will always be these ups and downs in prices. This is very common and those who can understand and take advantage of these opportunities that the market offers will undoubtedly benefit greatly. A few months ago we saw HIVE surpass the $0.50 barrier and I confess that I and many others were excited to the point of thinking that we would see the price of $1 again. But what happened was exactly the opposite.

Instead of rising, the price started falling and here we are with HIVE at $0.225 today. I have seen some friends taking advantage of the opportunity and exchanging their HBD for HIVE to increase their accounts and this is a great strategy when you have a good HBD reserve. Saving HBD in savings is a good alternative and in addition to saving, we get an APR of 15% per year. Speaking of which, I started using my savings account again so I could start earning some extra income and in the long run, I know I'll have a good reserve of HBD.

I don't know what I'll want to use my HBD for in the future. It's likely that I'll be able to take advantage of the next low season and if I want to set aside 300 HBD to exchange for HIVE based on today's price, I'll be able to have 1,333.33 HIVE. This is undoubtedly a good long-term deal and all you need is determination and patience for when that time comes again, because I know it will happen.

Inspired and Motivated for the Daily Power UP Movement

Anyone who is active on #snaps must have noticed that @shiftrox is setting a great example of someone who wants to grow their account. He made a promise to increase his account by 10 HIVE every day. In a month, that's 300 HIVE in addition to what he will earn from author and curation rewards. By sharing his plan, he also inspired other friends to do the same, and I'm one of them. Fortunately, @vempromundo, @tegoshei, @rimurutempest, @jarmeson and @aiuna are already participating in this movement.

I started doing power up with 1 HIVE per day, but today I decided to double it to 2 HIVE. I know and understand that this number isn't that big, but my focus now is to have consistency and determination to do this every day. The number may increase over time, and I'm not worried about that right now. But increasing by 2 HIVE per day will be interesting and challenging for me and I am excited to see my account grow even faster.

For those who know me, you know that I could have even more HP in my account, but due to financial problems in the past, I had to sell practically everything and unfortunately I didn't stay here. After 2 years, I decided to come back, because I can't stay away from this incredible community for so long. This time I'm determined that I will never make the same mistake again, and even though things aren't so good financially today, I don't intend to get rid of anything from Hive.

I'm also determined to buy 10 LEO every day and stack them in my stake. So in addition to my author and curation rewards, I intend to accelerate my LEO earnings by also buying from the market. I want to reach 10,000 LEO in stake as soon as possible, so we're already in the fourth month of the year and I don't want to waste any more time, because I want to reach 20k LEO in my account by the end of the year. So taking advantage of the fact that the price is at $0.014, I think I'll increase these numbers soon.

There are so many cool initiatives and inspirations that keep us excited to grow the community. Right now my main focus is HIVE and LEO, but whenever more opportunities arise, I will take advantage of the other tokens that exist in our ecosystem.
