This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League, documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

This was a profitable week, especially on Saturday, when everything I touched turned a profit. At the same time, I was unable to really get volume in making me think I should cut down on the number of bets. Sunday was one of those days where my confidence was quite high already calculating the profit I would make in advance which at that time I know was a setup for disaster. Mostly based on experience and past times when I had this feeling. I got a bit more adventurous on bets which turned out not to play out as I anticipated ending me that day with just a minor loss.

Overall though, I'm quite pleased on how things are going even though I do feel I should up my focus a bit while I'm also behind on my personal league stats keeping which I plan to catch up on this week.

Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2025-2026

The bet I saw most edge in this weekend was a potential big Anderlecht win as they are one of those teams who have the potential to win easily especially at home against a newly promoted team. At the same time they can lose against anyone. So the option to take small stakes at high odds was the way to go. However, I did really see a big edge so I took it up as one of the rarer high odds official bets. Things didn't really turn out the way I anticipated as Zulte scored every single counter they got pretty much in a match that ended in a 2-3 score.

Season 2025-2026 Personal Betting Chart

I'm pretty much on track of what I expect to earn after 3 weeks in the league but I'm still far behind on what I aim to stake. Last 7 days I just did 4.453 units of volume. Part of this however was due to the fact that I had to skip half of the match from Westerlo and the match between AA Gent and Union. Still, in order to get 10 Units of profit at the end of the season at a 2.7% Expected ROI, I would need to get in around 9 units of volume on average over the course of 40 weeks. So I still have quite some ways to go. The fact that I'm up however, makes it a lot more easy compared to the previous years where I was down -8 units and -4 units which killed my appetite for risk going into a slow safer grind mode.
