This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

The bad streak that I'm on pretty much continues last week and I went from being down around 4.2 units back 33% into the season to break even just over halfway to now kust a couple weeks later hitting a new season low at -4.3 units. The main issue isn't the loss as in the end it's still very limited, but more the fact that I just don't have a proper grip on the market right now. It's been a difficult season with many teams being inconsistent one week playing great and the other week being nowhere. Many of the pitches also are unplayable which has an influence on the results and generally the betting markets just being extremely sharp. I'm trying to switch my approach a bit from taking 'safe' 1.8 type odds that arguably have very little edge to higher odds bets where I potentially see more of an edge but which bring about more variance. This is also one of the reasons for the loss this week as none of the higher odds bets hit.

So the struggle pretty much remains and it's up to me to deal with it and overcome it which I have done plenty of times in the past. The long term profit is still the main goal which I'm still very much on track on even though these past 2 seasons don't really make things look hopeful.

So yeah, the chart looks horrible this season in that it's sideways down hopefully at a bottom. I haven't done anything crazy and also am not really tempted to as anything when I'm down I have the urge to really cut back.
