This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League, documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

After 3 break even weeks, I now had one with a considerable loss of just over 1 unit in total which shows that keeping my stakes more or less limited is the right way to go about things. I'm also slightly back below the expected profit on the season which is also fair as honestly there are just few bets that I see where I believe there is a bigger edge than just a couple percentages. When I do believe that I see those, I'm most of the time just proven wrong so I also can't really take those with conviction at the moment.

One of those was Marseille in the champions League against Club Brugge which started out the week with a -0.52 unit loss. It's one of those all-or-nothing teams who analists who watched them saw as the much bigger favorite in this one. They however turned out to have a total off day while Brugge managed to rise which made me stuck with some poor bets that cotributed to this weeks overall loss.

Some of the other bets that I was on could have easily gone the other way as the last corner that I needed in the Club Brugge match came but the ref decided at that point to end the match and not let it be taken. To be fair, there have been occasions in the past where a situation like this saved me so it's one of those things that even out over time. Zulte-Waregem could have gotten more against Westerlo, Standard was quite fortunate to make 2 goals thanks to 100% finishing on Anderlecht mistakes.

Basically it was a classic grind it out week where some of the bets weren't the best while others fell on the wrong side of the coinflip which lost me just over 1 unit.

I did end up with 1 bet where I felt the odds potentially were off enough to take a 0.4 unit bet which could have ended in a draw for a half win but in the end also went the other way which wasn't undeserved also for Union. Keeping these bets selective does put me still at 3.84 units (counted on flat 1 unit stakes) on them which equals +19.02% ROI. As I aim to have these as a selection for those who potentially want to follow, they still very much succeed and have a above average long-term ROI after close to 800 of them.

Season 2025-2026 Personal Betting Chart

Looking at the season chart of all my bets (which almost all I actually shared in real-time), it once again is at a do or die moment sitting just below the expected pink profit line at 2.32% on the season. All the previous times, I managed to bounce up but at the same time, not that much is needed to break all the way down again and sit as a break-even level or even a slight loss on the season. If anything, it shows how tight the edge had gotten in this market, or you could way how much I need to up my game to get a bigger edge again.

I will just keep grinding cautiously not really focussing on the volume which was at 5.922 units last week which was a bit higher than usual but still below the 8-10 units that I ultimately aim for as the next step to reach.
