This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League, documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

If anything, I'm quite pleased with how things went in Week 15 as I really managed to keep my focus and discipline. It remains a challenge to really find good value as for each match it feels like the bookies and lines are fully aware of all aspects that I think they might overlook. It was a pretty moring week also with not too many goals. It's always more favorable to take bets when it are open and attractive matches while in boring 0-0 matches your hands are much more tied.

At this point, it is not clear whether week 16 will even be broadcast as Dazn ended their agreement with the league which has been a soap since the start of the season. I'm sure that eventually it will be fixed and I hope it gets back on the normal tv channel which has far less delay since it was difficult to bet being 15 seconds behind on what actually was happening on the pitch.

Season 2025-2026 Personal Betting Chart

I managed to break the 3-week losing streak and I'l back on track with the expected profit this season. At the same time, I do fail week after week to get in enough volume this week stranding at ony 3.126 units. I think it's not a bad thing to be a bit more selective in my bets and I now need to just increase the stakes a bit on the bets that I do take even though I'm torn by the fact that the edge that I see always is rather limited.

This week, 0.625 units profit on 3.126 staked, so +20% ROI.

I like to only really look at ROI based on the entire season and if possible over multiple seasons though. In the short term, everything can happen and I would argue that even a season isn't long enough given the limited average edge. I would sign any year for +3% ROI and not too high swings right now honestly. I only ended 3 out of 8 previous seasons above that. I do need to get my stakes up though as I have been way too conservative, at the same time I can't say confidence is sky high so keeping up the streak being unbeaten over the course of the season now since I started betting is one of the things that keeps me busy. The grind is real :)
