Week 14 Results | 17W-16L-3P | -0.617 Units Loss
Week 14 was quite frustrating mainly because betting felt like gambling and flipping a bunch of coins while I also failed to pull some triggers as I'm mainly come from and angle where I'm not really willing to lose and drop back down while I'm up on the season still.
The market is just really tight at the moment and I continue to struggle between taking what I believe is potentially value while at the same time wanting to take the other side purely on market indications. Especially in the match between Dender and Zulte-Waregem this was the case as the team who had not won yet after 13 weeks was the favorite against one of the promoted teams who has been somewhat of a revelation. The value pointed toward the underdog who has the momentum but the market was very clear about Dender. What it turned out in is a match where the xg pointed that Dender should have won but it ended in a draw which would have given half a win on the underdog. Basically a pure coinflip where I could not have set the odds any better.
It also remain that minor details and single actions in a match make for for big swings in the betting results. I was on Club Brugge on the corners after they fell behind which in the end lost by 1 corner which was one that always should have been avoided as a player from Brugge just let it go for some reason thinking it was going to be in their favor while the ball clearly was touched by an their goalkeeper. Things like that make for over half a unit swing this week. However, in the long run none of that really matters as equally you will get things like this in your advantage over time. Still though it can be quite frustrating especially at times when you feel you are kind of flipping coins.
The good things is that I did keep my stakes limited and I also hit a nice winner in the European Leagues. I also should go much more with some of the notes that I'm making as they stated, take Stvv 1H -0.25 / Stvv -0.25 / stvv corners which would have been 2W-0.5L-0.5P in a very clear outcome where Standard once again was nowhere. Somehow I didn't take it though so these things I really need to improve upon.

The current 3-week losing streak puts me back below the expected pink line but still well into profit on the season which at least is something. I do need to improve though and the international break comes at a good time as I did kind of feel some sings of a small burn out from the football.
