This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League, documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

The good news last week was that the 2 Corner bets in the Standard vs Antwerp match from the week before were settled as winners (rightfully so) and I managed to count the 0.243 units of profit the the results of this week. I also started the week good in Europe with a 0.272 unit winning bet on the match from Union betting on Inter 1st half -0.25 which also was my only mid-week bet. However, during the weekend in the league I just was absolutely nowhere with multiple bad bets which I probablt would not take again. Especially in the match between Cercle and Zulte-Waregem I kind of chased Cercle on the corners mostly based on statistic that might not have meant that much while the match picture never was favorable enough. That in total cost me half a unit and the majority of the loss on the week.

Betting remains quite the challenge, and it's has been a good thing that I have kept my stakes to a minimum even though each week I have the intention to up them a bit in order to reach higher volumes. At the same time I really need to believe I have an edge which right now I can't say with too much confidence. Most top teams are weaker compared to last season but still somehow manage to cover their handicaps so it also is not a smart idea to oppose them.

I might go ahead and lower the number of bets a bit in the coming week but I will see how it goes. The grind continues and this isn't the first or the last time when trying to make profit on the market is a massive challenge. One thing I know for sure which is that I continue to bet responsibly with proper bankroll management in mind and a long-term mindset that allows me to overcome periods where the bets might not be the best.

There are cup matches in the mid-week which I generally haven't done well on in the past during these early rounds. I skipped the matches yesterday to have some family time instead but I will be covering them today and tomorrow. The main angle is to back the better teams if they fall behind and are better or bring in A-Squad players in the 2nd half. Often the smaller team starts with high motivation which rotation and less motivation of the big team might give them some problems early on. As the small team fatigues it most of the time still turns out in the better team qualifying.

This was another week where I failed to get my volume up big given that I made a loss it was not a bad thing. The chart still looks solid and despite the dip this week, I'm still ranging above the expected profit pink line. The key now will be to avoid falling below that and just keep grinding my way up.
