Sorare.com Week 15 | Rare Cap240 Hit + Buying 2 New Players (+50$ Earnings)

I have highly been enjoying Sorare.com and now also incuded Rare cards for this 2nd Season that I'm playing. Each Wednesday I'm making an update post on what's going on in the ecosystem and how I'm doing personally.

It was another great week for me in Sorare for the 8th time in 15 weeks hitting the Threshold in the Rare Cap240 League bringing in another 50$ to reinvest which I already did buying 2 new Rare Sitikers.

Rare Cap 240 Team:

If anything, I was really fortuante hitting the Threshold a couple times early in the season which allowed me to get some more players that helped me hit it more often afterward and I hope to continue this trend now owning 20 Rare Players. I bought 2 new strikers with Fadera (57.32€) and Luis Vasquez (38.81€) now owning 6 players in that position but still only 1 that is right now sure of his place with Onuachu.

My strategy with these is to only buy strikers with quality and lots of growth potential that right now are not playing, out of form, injured patiently waiting until they have a breakout moment for me to be able to use them in the cap240. Once they do and get a high average score, I plan to sell for a profit as I did with Koita.

With another Clean sheet from Cerle and goals from Onuachu & Heymans I managed to hit the threshold despite an unfortunate match from Reynolds who tends to be hit or miss.

Week 16 Rare Cap 240 Team

Heymans who is my regular backup taking up only 33 points is unlikely to play due to a small foot injury but he said he's working to be back in the mid-week cup match after. This either left me to change my entire lineup or to buy another player to replace him. It happened to be that Vasuqez is very likely to play this friday against Westerlo coming of a match where he scored after many matches just coming in late. His total is also 33 points and I did have an eye on him before. So I didn't hesitate to buy in with an eye on both the furture and for instant use this weekend.

Limited Teams & Results

The limited competitions are getting extremely competitive to the point where only really the cap240 still is realistic to hit. I failed to do so last week scoring only 235.78 points.

Player Transfers & Reward Card

I did buy 3 players in the last week.

Lucas Noubi who is only 18 and played in defense for Standard, at 0.76€ it both helps me to get closer to the 3% bonus and I don't mind to gamble on players like this to get future use case.

Alieu FaderaHe started the season hot for Genk after coming over from Zulte-Waregem but had a dip and got on the bench as there is a lot of competition on the wings with Paintsil, Bonsu Baah, Oyen. He used to be extremely expensive some time ago at 47€ for a limited version. In the latest match of Genk, he again showed his best form after coming in so I did an offer of 57.32€ for a rare copy which to my surprise got accepted and I'm glad to have him in my team.

Luis VasquezHe's a young striker that Anderlecht bought from Boca Juniors for 7 Million. So far he has been the backup for Dolberg who picked up a small injury. These South American Players also always need time to adjust which got his price down a lot. I hope/expect him to be the main Anderlecht striker at some point and he has instant use case with a starting spot most likely and only 33 points on average.

Week 16 Limited Teams

At this point, I'm only really taking Cap240 seriously with all the others being longshots. This week I'm fully going for Antwerp at home against OHL after they played a good match in the Champions League.

Season 2023-2024 Owned Limited Cards & Values

Tracking all my limited cards here has become way too time-intensive so I'll be using stats from sorarebase. I'm still up overall including last season which turned out in a loss and I will just keep compounding things re-investing earnings.

Conclusion
