Sorare.com Playoffs Week 9 | 20$ in-season Cash Reward !
This week was the first time I actually arened a cash reward from an in-game competition using mostly cards that I won with Classic Leagues. So it was a nice 20$ win.
Playoffs Rare Results
418 points with 754 entried in league 3 in-season challenger rare was enough for and 18th place and 20$ while 383 points in Under 23 Classic got me a 1$ Tier 5 Card. It once again shows that you actually want in the lowest as possible league as the profit expectation is higher there as there is lower competition. 418 points would not have gotten me 20$ in League 2.

Season 2024-2025 Owned Collection Value
It's fairly easy to track your personal earnings on the Sobase.Football website. We seem to be at a point again where the rewards don't fully compensate for the drop in card values over time as more get printed and dumped on the market.
I am no longer putting outside funds into Sorare at this point and will track my total account value from here on out weekly. It's been pretty much a race to the bottom as sorare isn't able to come up with dynamics where card prices hold their value.

Conclusion
The enjoyment that I'm getting from Sorare surely has gone down a lot as they fail to fix some of the core issues. If I win something or manage to break even I'm already a happy player. Given the continued inflation, this is a game and not an investment.

It's been that case for me, the entire system makes no sense as you pretty much want to be in the lower league as the higher ones just have way higher average scores and the higher prizes there don't make up for the higher difficulty level. For the average player, it's still best to submit your best team in the lowest league.
Great result this week! 🏆 Did you notice any specific strategies that helped you reach those 418 points in the Challenger Rare?
There is not much strategy anymore these days in Sorare. Either you have all the best players and play those of a team who have an easy opponent, or you just put some lower value cards together in a ton of lineups and hope one gets luck and hits a big score which you most of the time only notice after the week has played out already. At best you have 1 strong lineup with the need for 1 more player to do well which gives som fun.
