Sorare.com Playoffs Week 3 | Tier 5 Rare Mint (+2$ Earnings)
Last week there was another user interface change on Sorare along with some changes with felxible lineup entry as many in the community are complaining about DNP's which for me never really was an issue as I see it as part of the game. The core issues of an oversupply and card prices that are in a race to the bottom however is not really getting fixed and it remains really hard to win something decent while it takes ages to fill in many lineups that hare'nt too enjoyable to follow as it just all feels like a lottery where afterward you go look if you won something.
I continue to play and see how it goes though just taking the loss along the way without doing any further investments.

I did get Tobias Salquist as a Tier 5 card which is a player who at least starts and is worth a couple $. I also used 2.8€ of my balance to buy a limited copy of Anderlecht Youghsters Nathan De Cat (getting 50% discount) as he's said to be one of the bigger talents.
Season 2024-2025 Owned Collection Value
It's fairly easy to track your personal earnings on the Sobase.Football website. We seem to be at a point again where the rewards don't fully compensate for the drop in card values over time as more get printed and dumped on the market.
Honestly if I could get 900€ for my collection at the moment I probably would just take it and move on from Sorare.
I am no longer putting outside funds into Sorare at this point and will track my total account value from here on out weekly. It's been pretty much a race to the bottom as sorare isn't able to come up with dynamics where card prices hold their value.

Conclusion
The enjoyment that I'm getting from Sorare surely has gone down a lot as they fail to fix some of the core issues. If I win something or manage to break even I'm already a happy player. Given the continued inflation, this is a game and not an investment.

Unfortunaltely it's not enough to keep up with the continued asset prices which is the main thing Sorare needs to solve but where there doen't seem to be a proper solution for. New players are needed but if that were to happen the difficulty to actually get rewards would become even harder.
