Standings Playoff 2

Dender vs Charleroi


Charleroi is in the lead and are the team who most seem motivated to win playoff 2. They played against their direct rival last week, which they won 3-0 which was an exaggerated score as efficiency was the main difference at 2.02-1.88xg. Dender in their away match started quite good even though they had nothing. They took the early deserved lead but afterward lost the focus while OHL managed to make a comeback. It was a match between teams who don't really seem to care about playoff 2 which resulted in sloppy defense. Dender at this moment for me is an away over team but I'm not 100% sure that this is also the case at home where they are undefeated now in playoff 2. Charleroi in their last away match started with very high energy and high pressing which they did not manage to keep up all match with overall a match that was rather dissapointing. So I expect for this match for Dender to be willing to play while Charleroi most likely again will start with high energy wanting to show that they want it more. I do expect both teams who do want to play forward as long as it's a draw and the team who takes the lead likely will just crawl back and lure on the counters. My main lean is on the over in corners. Dender went 16 corners & 8 corners in their home matches while Charleroi went 7 & 12 away. The Regular season matche ended in a 1-0 and 0-7 in corners as the goal came in the 1st half. So if Dender takes the lead I might take a bet on Charleroi corners. For now, No Pre-Game Bets

Standard vs OH Leuven

Both teams don't really seem to want to win playoff 2. OHL started out without much motivation last weekend at home and did some rotation in the defense. Only after getting 0-1 behind they kicked in gear and actually started scoring in a match that ended in a 4-4 draw making a classic Playoff 2 match. Standard played a 1-1 against Westerlo in what for a long time looked like a 0-0 match where nothing at all happened. The 2nd half was slightly better and it showed once again that Standard is a team who isn't best when they are in the lead. So the question today is what intentions both teams will play with. The total line is set temptingly low to go for the over and I also just can't imagine that Standard isn't going to even try wanting to bring more in front of their home fans. These teams are master of the draws with 7 out of 8 matches landing in them so far. Standard so far at home had 13 & 12 corners while OHL away had 12 & 16 corners. I'm willing in this one to go for high odds high line with a 0.1 unit bet on Over 3.5 @ 4.520 which feels worth the risk as there certainly is a scenario of another crazy playoff 2 match. I also early in the match might go for an over corner bet if odds go up quickly.

Kv Mechelen vs Westerlo

Mechelen is still aiming to win playoff 2 while Westerlo is in a situation where too many players don't seem motivated. Mechelen so far had 11 & 5 corners at home and Westerlo had 12 & 16 corners away with them losing both their first halves. This while Mechelen won their 2 home 1st half corner matchups. I can see a match where Mechelen mainly will be the team with the initiative coming out with the intentions to win and go forward. I took just 0.1 unit on Kv Mechelen 1H -0.5 Corners @ 1.900. The over seems to be the logical option as it's playoff 2 and both are teams who tend to be willing to go forward. However at a 3.5 it's adjusted to this.
