I was back to grinding it out with lower stakes on Friday which went well as the usual 1H under bet in La Louviere pulled trough for a total of just 0.2 units without too much stress. 3 Matches on Saturday with 1 highlighted bet which I took earlier this week and shared on Discord which looks good as the odds dropped quite a bit.

OH Leuven vs Westerlo

OHL one way or another lost with a 5-1 score last week against Anderlecht. It looked though that they had everything under control in the 1st half until Maziz made a stupid mistake that caused the 1-1. A really poor start of the 2nd half quickly made it 3-1 after which they looked beaten while Anderlecht continued to score from every single impossible angle as the 5 goals came from 1.59xg which on top included a penalty. They also held their ground the week before in Brugge even though the home team could have scored in the 1st half and the match ended with a 2-1 score even though there could have been more goals. The weeks prior to these matches against top teams, they showed good things and took a couple of wins. They are still inside a playdown spot with 3 matches that give options to go. A draw today though likely won't be good enough given how good Zulte-Waregem has been playing. At the same time, playing the playdowns is not the end of the world for them as it's near impossible for them to still relegate. So I expect a pretty stress free match today with an eye to win it. Westerlo last week played a solid match against a rather weak Union. They don't have to fear a playdown spot but a win today is a must if they still want to hold a chance to finish in playoff 1. They are a team with potential but simply aren't reliable. This is basically a match where form of the day for both teams will be key and I can see it potentially go both ways. I don't see anything that stands out so I'm going to be patient and wait to possibly find something in-game. No Pre-Game Bets

Dender vs Charleroi

Dender since last week has a new coach and the coach change angle pulled trough again as they covered the underdog handicap with a 0-0 score away against Cercle Brugge even though they were under pressure early on. They are 9 points behind on La Louviere and they are still on a mission to lower the gap with an eye on the playoffs. If they win today, it kind of would put their fate in their own hands again as they likely will face La Louviere twice in the playdowns. The main question is if they are going to take risks and go forward or stay closed defensively hoping for a counter. Charleroi after Cornelis played the B-Squad has lost all their matches since and the flow seems to be gone a bit even though the actual quality of play has not been that bad. I do see them as an overall better team compared to Dender. So it's a question of quality vs form and possible coach change effect. Basically, all the lines and odds feel quite fair and I have no real clue how this one will turn out. Charleroi in their last 3 away matches created 6 corners each time while Dender in their last 3 matches conceded 9 corners. So in case Dender would take the lead, my choice likely will be for Charleroi to create a bunch of corners. No Pre-Game Bets

Union vs Genk

Union didn't get further than a 0-0 Draw last week away against Westerlo and they really felt the lack in Quality offensively with Davind, Florucz, & Rodrigues injured. Their coach needs to find a different way to play with the offensive players who they have left and are of lower quality. The overall form of Union also hasn't been that great lately and they strarted failing to cover their home handicaps for some weeks now. So overall, Union is a team that I'm possibly looking to oppose at the moment even though it remains scary. Genk managed to win with a 3-0 score against a rather weak AA Gent, but they looked quite tired with the many matches played already due to the european load. They did have a weeks rest and claimed their place inside of playoff 1 again. A draw today for sure would not be a bad result but they have to play without their most important player Heynen who is suspended. So the main question will be how they deal with that. Overall, Genk is on my list of teams to back and Union on my list of teams to possibly oppose, so I didn't hesitate early on and took 0.278 units on Genk +1 @ 1.890 which just felt too high of a handicap. I also took 0.126 units on Genk 1st Half +0.25 @ 2.160 and a tiny 0.096 units on Genk +0 @ 4.530. Unuion also hasn't managed to win a corner matchup this season against other top teams so the +2.5 line handicap feels a bit too big to pass on 0.16 units on Genk +2.5 Corners @ 1.910
