It was nice to see that I was pretty much spot on in the match yesterday which right now at best ends in half a winner but I will gladly take it. I'm hoping to build on this tiny bit of momentum in the 3 matches today...
RWDM vs Kortrijk
This is a match between 2 relegation candidates with RWDM with a 5-point lead over Kortrijk. RWDM is on a streak of 6 matches without a win while Kortrijk after their coach change Managed to get 2 wins (both at home against Brugge & Cercle) while they lost their last 2 away games against Westerlo & Genk. The match against Westerlo is a match I see as a reference and they actually played okay and didn't deserve the loss there. If anything with their new coach they have shown very good fighting power and work ethic to make up for the overall lack of quality. I don't see the difference between these teams as big enough for RWDM to have 50%+ to take the outright win. RWDM has more missing players and they are arguably in a worse streak at the moment. Kortrijk is coming from behind which often tends to be a favorable factor. I'm not quite sure what the plan of both teams will be as there are arguments for a cautious match from both sides given that the draw maintains the status quo. Both fully going for it also is an option as a win for RWDM would increase the gap to 8 points while Kortrijk winning would mean a major step forward. The odds for me are good enough to take 0.2 units on

OH Leuven vs Westerlo
OHL fired their coach 2 weeks ago which was followed by a 4-0 win against Stvv with a strategy to give them the ball and strike on the counter. Last week they ended up with a 5-1 loss against Anderlecht where they were simply outplayed by a better team. Now they have a new coach who will be on the bench today in a 6-point match against direct rival Westerlo who are 5 points behind in last place. Despite only losing 1 in their last 5 matches, Westerlo is still dead last with just 7 points out of 36 and a quality of play and drive that simply hasn't been good enough. It's a small miracle that their coach isn't fired yet and the pressure increased with a 3-1 cup loss against Beveren. This is one of those matches where if Westerlo loses it's for sure the end of their coach. This for me is one of those matches where it either ends in a outright away win or in a home walkover due to a collapse of the team that will see their coach fired if they lose. The best course of action I see is just wait and watch what happens in-game.
No Pre-Game Bets
Antwerp vs Genk
Antwerp arguably is in a worse form as their lost their last 2 matches and have been getting butchered in the Champions League while Genk has found their way without a loss in their last 12 matches. It's laos a clash between different styles as Antwerp puts priority on defense over offense while for Genk this is the other way around. In the last 4 encounters between these teams, Genk never managed to get a win. Based on form I would go with Genk but based on the matchup I would go for Antwerp. The -0.25 home favorite line seems quite right. It's also one of those matches that can either end in a boring low score or it could get wild especially as Antwerp has too many matches where they got multiple goals against.
