The evolution of growth beyond problems driven by purpose

It is said that the day you stop learning, you start dying. Mankind has witnessed groundbreaking innovation in technology, health, and various aspects of life.

If there were a perfect world today with no health issues and leadership, I believe there would still be a need for individual growth.

Most of the growth in the world today is inspired by the need to make ends meet and survive the harsh reality that the world throws at us.

People would need to grow in knowledge and leadership skills and also develop people skills because in a perfect world the goal will be to improve upon everything already working or to maintain the status quo of things.

And for this to be achieved, people will need to develop themselves because every generation has to be an improvement on the previous, and in a world without obstacles, growth would be purpose-driven and not because of the need to survive.

However, everything that has a positive side also has a negative side. Even in a world that is driven by the desire of survival, what some people see as growth is the ability to be able to take care of themselves and their immediate family.

Once this is achieved, the desire to grow further just becomes stagnant, and a lot of people would rather be in their comfort zone than try out a new challenge.

So bringing this into a perfect environment where everything needed was available, a lot of people would rather not do anything.

The almighty God, even after he created man, gave him a task to tend to the garden of Eden to keep him occupied because an idle mind is the devil's workshop, so in a perfect world, when the minds of a lot of people become inactive, they will begin to think all manner of evil.

In a perfect world without obstacles, growth is a must in order to stabilize the system because some people must grow in capacity to be able to handle leadership positions.

The world is already perfect in God's creation; most of the problems we have in the world today are a result of man's quest for knowledge and the fact that most of the people we have in various leadership positions have decided to use their positions for personal gain as well.

In the end growth shouldn't be a function of whether we have a perfect or imperfect world, but it should be a function of purpose and the desire to make the world a better place because growth should not just reflect in the life of an individual but also should rub off on the society.

Thanks for stopping by.

All that's important at the end of the day is purpose. A world that's meaningful.
