The dark side of scientific ambition

The importance of science and technological discovery can not be overemphasized with ground breaking discoveries in various fields across board

Scientific breakthroughs in the word of medicine has made it possible for various illnesses to be treated and various drugs developed however some scientists get cut up between doing what is right and carrying out experiments based on their obsessions.

The fact so wealthy people actually now even walk up to scientist with crazy ideas and are prepared to fund some of these projects even make it more difficult for some of the scientists no to carry out these projects because what do they stand to loose actually.

Imagine a person who has now made him self to look totally like a reptile because he had the money or the experiment between the lion and tiger know as the "liger" whose body weight makes it in possible for it to survive the jungle

Recently I was following an audio fiction series on pocket FM app title saving Nora and that series talked about improvement and modification of the human gene and it was sponsored by a very powerful organization.

The group carried out human experiments on children which they kidnapped from various works of life for different purposes and they had to force a renowned pharmacist and alternative medicine doctor to develop the drug of which she didn't fully generate the drug because of the evil intentions of the group and this led to the death of many children in their early days

Science has no doubt contributed to man kind but should I say over ambition or I don't know what to call it maybe obsession has driven many to their early graves.

Some of the worlds dreaded disease have broken out due to experiments carried out and went wrong

God in his infinite wisdom made everything and called them good but man tries to modify and add more features to the already good creatures and this is where most of the problem begins

Why will a man want to live forever if not for their selfish interests and desires or why would a person want to remain as energetic if they were in their youth in their old age
Life is in stages and we as humans are supposed to maintain balance and equilibrium in the eco system and I believe that by doing science can be channeled towards creating new and better innovations like it has be used for in some other fields other than trying to create clones of people or modify genes.
