Success beyond what you see

The word "success" in our world today is a very controversial word because of the different definitions different people have given to it over time.

A lot of people tend to define success based on material possession of assets and having a lot of money, but you see, while all that can be the definition of success for some people.

For some other people success might be setting a goal and being able to achieve it in whatever capacity you're in, so for some success might be getting that dream job, buying that car, or even being able to graduate from school or doing something no one in your family has ever done.

They say when the purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable, so my definition of success would be finding purpose and doing the things that make you happy.

We have seen people with lots of material wealth and assets who, at the end of the day, in spite of their ability to buy all that money could buy, were not happy with their lives until purpose was found.

Success is recognizing that on a man's journey to destiny there are hurdles and celebrating every win and making meaningful progress.

In a man's pursuit in life, we must realize that success is not a destination but part of the process in reaching our ultimate goal, so while it is good to celebrate our wins, we keep moving and creating tangible values and contribute to society.

Sometimes it can mean learning without making progress for a while, but when the process of learning is complete, then the results speak for themselves.

I remember how hard it was getting into the university and waiting 10 whole years, and some people thought I wasn't a serious person, but after I got my admission, they were speechless, and today I have a degree, and some of those people who thought I wasn't a serious person were the same people calling to congratulate me.

One thing success in any chosen field does for you is that it silences those who doubted your process because your result is evident and tangible.

But the truth is, for you to be successful in whatever you do, then the process can not be neglected because if you grow up, you will stay there, but when you blow up, a crash is inevitable.
