Purpose , value and wealth

True riches isn't measured by the type of car you drive or the luxury mansion you live in but by the impact you have on the people around you.

Sometime last year I attended a 3-month intensive training, and while I was there, together with other trainees, we learned basic greenhouse construction with hands-on practical experiences.

The training was a blend of both physical farm work and lectures from top agricultural experts teaching both the theoretical aspects of agriculture and the business part of it.

But something stood out for me, and that was the team lead of the farm. The first time I saw him, he was putting on shorts and a normal T-shirt, but I found out that anywhere he went, he had at least 4 or 5 people following him.

He made us realize that the only thing that makes a man truly successful is finding purpose and becoming valuable in the area of your purpose.

He said to us in one of his lectures how his mentor in agriculture went overseas and was given a large piece of land for farming because of the values he has.

I have had negative issues that made me say to myself, I will never be broke or poor in my life, but for this post based on the Hive Ninja prompt, I choose to talk about some of the people who I look up to as mentors, and I tell myself, I will never be broke in my life.

Because when you're in purpose and you walk the part diligently, you will definitely achieve your goals.

Myles Moore of blessed memories said in one of his meetings that planning is the greatest gift of a man because once you find purpose, you need to have a plan, a template that you will follow to actualize that plan of yours.

So back when I was going through that training, I decided that I was going to constantly do the things that make me valuable and drive me towards my purpose because if I don't take any actions, no one will take them for me.

I see a future where my wife and kids are able to get the things they need without having to worry about how much they cost and also where someone's life is touched positively because of the impact I have had on their lives.

So I keep pushing with the faith that the destinies that are tied to mine can't be disappointed because I didn't do what I was supposed to.

Because I know for a fact that when I succeed, others will too, because the value of a man's life is thoroughly about the impact he has on the lives of others rather than the luxurious lifestyle, so I decided I will be successful in order to make a change in my world.
