More time doesn't equal more productive

Hi everyone, Welcome to my blog.

Time is a gift given to every man that has ever walked the face of the earth; it is the basic currency of life because you do not have to do anything to get it, and from the moment a person is born into this world till the day they die, they have the gift of time.

Time for me is the most precious gift a man can get because what you do with it determines what you get out of it, so the difference between where a person is now and their destination is time, and the destination you reach is a reflection of what you do with the time available to you.

Often times you hear people say things like, If only I had more time, things would have been better for me. And sometimes the reality of this boils down to the information available to some of these people because delayed access to some information can lead to certain setbacks in life, but what you do with such information after you access it depends totally on you.

The reason why you see two people born on the same day and one is highly successful and the other is probably not as successful is what they did with their time. Time has been in existence since the beginning of the world, and we have always had twenty-four hours, and in these twenty-four hours, a lot of people have been able to channel their energy wisely and become successful.

So if you ask me, I would say we don't need more time; we only need to prioritize what we do with our time. Sometimes this year I read a book titled "Eat That Frog!" by Brian Tracy.

In that book he talks about setting goals and devoting time to make sure those goals are met, and one of the ways by which goal setting can be achieved is intentionality. So you set a goal and work towards it until it is achieved.

We all have the gift of 24 hours in a day, and believe me, people are making the most of it and still doing the things they love, so instead of seeking an additional 12 hours, I will prioritize my goals and actively work to see that they are accomplished. Besides the people who are maximizing the time in my field of interest and are making waves must know something that I don't for them to be more successful than I am, so I will seek the knowledge that they have to help me maximize the time as well.

Productivity is not a function of having more time on our hands; it is a matter of discipline to do the right thing at the right time.

Furthermore, an additional 12 hours in a day will create an unbalanced ecosystem in the world.

In the end, productivity is not about how much time we have but how we spend the time that we have.

Thank you for stopping by.

I love that last sentence, productive is how we spend the time we have. Even with this 24 hrs we can achieve everything if we prioritize our goal
