Beyond pills choosing an healthy lifestyle
Good health begins with the small daily habits and lifestyle and not the bottle of pills; hence the popular saying health is wealth.
The true determination of a person's health lies in their daily actions, ranging from eating good food to resting appropriately, exercising regularly, and a host of other activities contained in our daily routine.
Every now and then you find a lot of people in my country traveling out for medicals because of the lifestyle they lived, maybe when they were younger, or because they simply didn't pay attention to some little health details in their lives.
Sincerely, when they say health is wealth, you will imagine what's the use when you have to budget a huge amount of money for health care maybe quarterly in the year or every half of the year, depending on the health condition.
So you find a lot of people spending the money they would have channeled to other courses on their health challenges, which obviously now have an overall influence on their kind of lifestyle.
During my final year at the university, one of our lecturers, an aged professor, fell sick and was hospitalized, and after a series of tests, they found out that he took ill as a result of excess animal protein consumption.
So if he had known that too much animal protein wasn't good for him at his age, he would have reduced it.
As a young boy growing up, I loved playing soccer so much, and at some point I discovered that after playing soccer, I would experience cramps or muscle pulls, as it were.
I also noticed that I took ill at a particular time of the year, which was in the rainy season. Sometimes I just did a blood test, and drugs would be prescribed.
One particular time I took ill, it was so serious I found myselfat the navy hospital at my then location. I met with a doctor who told us the right kind of test to do, and after the tests and prescription of drugs, he advised me to stay away from taking cold water, which some people call ice water 😄😂.
I must tell you it wasn't an easy decision to take and also abide by, but eventually I found out that even the so-called cramps I experienced at night during my sleep stopped because I stopped taking cold water, according to the doctors advice.
Some time ago I noticed some sharp pain in my lower back, which would just not go away no matter what I did. I later had a checkupand found that it was ulcer pain, which I had to continuously take drugs to suppress.
One day I came across a video on Facebook where the guy said for everyone that has an ulcer, something triggers it, and when I paid attention, I discovered that it was carbonated drinks for me, and as soon as I stopped, those pains reduced drastically, and I no longer even have to buy ulcer drugs anymore for a long time now.
Our health is one of our greatest assets because what is wealth without good health to enjoy the wealth? Dear friends, please pay attention to your health because your health is not determined by the bottles of pills but rather the small habits we keep on a daily basis.

People who are addicted to drugs will have to give up all these things to restore their health. If they don't give up these things, even if they exercise or take medicine, they will never be able to live a good and healthy life.
Being addicted to drugs even have side effects because in the long run the body develops immunity to those drugs so they become inactive
