$SLERF Presale Refunds Are Started
Developer of a memecoin $SLERF burnt $10 million accidently which caught hype immediately after the news broke on various crypto coverage websites. I have wrote about it recently. Everyone who lost money in the incident started crying after the incident.
If you have read my previous post about it you know that i am also one of the $SLERF presale participant. I was also feeling sad though my investment was not big but it was a hard earned money that is why i had a little regret for participating in this presale.
Good thing is that the refunds are already in process for the ones who sent funds for presale participation. I have got my Sol back and i am happy for that. It is true that i was not expecting refunds but luckily it happened.
Let me tell you in explain that how refunds started and who is paying. Developer who burnt funds accidently didnt sit after the incident. He hosted many live spaces on X to gain trust of the crypto community.
Many big names in crypto listened to him and gave their opinions on the incident. Some were laughing while some were ready to help in any possible ways. Developer asked for the help openly but funds could not be recovered.
This is where exchanges gave him a helping hand and decided to refund all the presale participants. LBank which is a centralized exchange has set a donation wallet for refunds. In just two days they raised 4000 Sol which were used to refund presale participants. Not everyone got refunds yet. They started refunds from small investors.
Besides this Lbank has also announced to donate fee collected from $SLERF trade . Similarly many other exchanges came forward to help and announced to donate all the fee collected from $SLERF trading.
During all this hype $SLERF got listed on many tier 1 exchanges. There are many users who took the advantage to buy $SLERF when they came to know that developer burnt presale tokens. People made millions of dollars in profit. Some of the people who made peofit from $SLERF also donated for refunds.
While the refunds are in progress , i still doubt if everyone would be getting back. I doubt that they will pay small investors then will forget about it. For now they are paying back to lottle users in order to gain trust.
While developer claims that he burnt funds accidently , i doubt it. My sense says that he did it on purpose to get hype and attention. This is also proven from the Sol he sent back to his address before burning presale tokens and Sol.
A whale bought $slerf worth $3 million after the launch and dumped it for $2 million profit. The 100% chances are that its the developer who jumped in as he was the only one who knew what he is going to do.
Well , i have got back my money but i feel sorry for those who invested big funds. It gives us lesson that we should not invest blindly.
