Scroll Network Has Disappointed Airdrop Farmers
Scroll is a powerful security focused scaling solution for Ethereum network built by the competent developers. It aims to make transactions more fast and cheaper than Ethereum. It is designed using zero knowledge proof. It is said that Scroll can handle more users at once than Ethereum.
There are a lot of good projects built on scroll which includes chainsight , Allium , Robin Protocol , Lore Finance , Noves and RetroBridg. These projects have attracted good number of people on Scroll network which are in millions. Scroll's ability to handle more users than Ethereum is quite interesting and appreciating.
There is no doubt that Scroll is a good network with millions of active users but it messed up in a recent statement about its TGE and tokenomics. Scroll,s Community isn't happy with the tokenomics they have shared with the community because it is more rewarding for outsiders than loyal community which has been with the project since 2 years.
People were interacting with different projects built on Scroll since two years to get a pie of the airdrop. People have paid a significant fees in transactions for minting NFTs , Badges and to gain Marks which is the criteria for the Scroll airdrop. The tokenomics calculations shows that people would hardly get back their fees spent on transactions. This has put community on frustration.
Scroll team issued a statement on twitter few hours ago regarding its tokenomics which shows that 7% of the Scroll token supply is for the community who is interacting on Scroll since 2 years paying hundreds of dollars in fees. While Binance launch pool participants are allocated 5% of the Scroll tokens supply. This is where the community got frustrated.
Scroll has done this unfair with the loyal community because users who are supporting the project since 2 years have got 7% allocation while outsiders (Binance Launchpool) have 5% allocation which is totally ridiculous and shows that Scroll team has farmed very poor tokenomics.

This does not stop here, Scroll team has announced that it has not taken snapshot for the airdrop and it will be taken on 19 october which is a ridiculous statement as it was not expected from the team because it has allowed whales to enter for the airdrop and take maximum allocation leaving behind users who were supporting the network since two years.
Scroll users are not happy with the current tokenomics as its more rewarding to the outsiders than community. Some experts have drawn table for allocations which are very poor as mostly people seems to get rekt as of the small allocation because whales are already taking their positions after the knowing that airdrop snapshot is 1 days away.
Personally, i have stopped farming airdrops as its a big disappointment because it is not for the small users. Airdrops are for the whales who have large stakes. A small user like me ends up paying hundreds of bucks in hope for the airdrop but gets nothing in the end.
Rather than focusing and farming useless airdrops its better to be active on Hive platform as it is more rewarding than any other platform. To be honest , Hive is King as its purely community driven Blockchain.
