Splinterlands - The Battle Against Eternal Tofu Summoner
Hello Friends,
Source
First of all, I am sorry for not able to share the screenshots of the battle I am sharing because of the issue with new battle page, I raised a ticket with Splinterlands support team nd awaiting a confirmation from them.
The new battle page isn't working fine for me although it's working K for many of you, but some of us are still having issue with the new battle page, where, the cards images and other battle screen objects are not being rendered properly.
The Social media challenge is about to be ended tomorrow, I waited almost a day for a resolution on the issue with new battle screen, but it's still being verified by Splinterlands support team.
Onto this week's Social Media Challenge, I would like to share a battle against Eternal Tofu summoner and this battle is also a tricky One with just 12 MANA cost cap for the battle and I am gonna share the details of this drawn battle, yes!!! you read it right, I am sharing the drawn battle as leave about winning, even a draw against a leveled up Eternal Tofu has to be considered a good result because of the abilities it induces into the summoners it calls for the battle.
Ok, without further delay, here I go with details of the battle, strategy and the monsters used.
Eternal Tofu is the Earth Splinter summoner from Rebellion edition and it, by default, induces +2 health, thorns and snare abilities. Not just that!!!, it can either provide corrosive ward and divine shield to 3 monsters along with the abilities mentioned above or it can induce triage and scavenger abilities to 1 monster it summons.
So, that is the specialty of Eteranl Tofu summoner and winning against it with all those abilities it gives to the monsters it calls is something which will be extraordinary.

The battle I am sharing against the Eternal Tofu summoner and the monsters it called upon is as in above shared link. Pardon me for the issue with screen shared above, as there is some issue going on with the new battle screen updated couple of day s ago and a ticket is submitted to Splinterlands support team already.
The battle had 12 MANA cap for this battle and weak magic, blast and aim true were the rulesets.
Being a not so good battler in the low MANA cap battles, I used Life splinter with monsters as mentioned below against a lineup of Pelacor Conjurer, Venator Kinjo, Fungus Fiend, Soul Fiend (yes, Tofu can summon 2 splinters, earth and life) and Halfling Refugee used by opponent.
here I go with details of the monsters I used with General Sloan as the summoner by me.
Lineup:
1. Pelacor Conjurer:
One of the best front monsters for the low MANA cap battles and this battle too, had 12 MANA cap and I felt I will use Pelacor Conjurer as my front monster as it is with phase, divine shield, magic reflect abilities and it's also a flying monster and can evade few attacks.
2. Gargoya Scrapper:
This 1 MANA cost monster was used in Second line for the blast ruleset to protect the monster followed by it as I used couple of good attacking monsters in Stitch Leech and Celestial Harpy to follow this monster.
3. Stitch Leech:
Stitch Leech was used so that, it can get the life leech and stay alive for longer in the battle which it infact did and I think this was the last attacking monster to get removed from the battle.
4. Celestial Harpy:
This is another good monster which is more useful in such low MANA cost battles and it's 2 attack for 2 cost will be more than handy as it is an opportunity ability monster.
5. Soul Fiend:
Lat monster used by me was this Zero cost monster of Soul Fiend and there was luckily no sneak attack used by opponent to target this monster.
So, will the monsters used by me and by my opponent, the battle went for 24 rounds as both of us had non attacking Pelacor Conjurer monsters at the front and all other monsters got attacked and removed and the battle went on for 24 rounds and finally, it had to be a draw as both Pelacor Conjurer monsters got removed by round 24.
So, that was an interesting battle of low MANA cap and monsters used were good too except that, the battle I should have won, was a tame draw just because of the abilities induced by Eternal Tofu.
Asking for pardoning me one more time just for the distorted battle screen shared which is having issue with recent update by Splinterlands and I am hoping I will have images loaded by the next time I write for a challenge.
Thanks, have a good Friday and a great weekend :)
Thanks and Have a good day :)
