Splinterlands - Social Media Challenge - Importance of Shatter Ability
Hello Friends,

Source
Good day everyone, it's a Saturday and I am blogging on Hive after quite a long time and no other topic other than Splinterlands is better to start blogging again!!!
Yes, I always feel more confident to write about my favorite Blockchain game Splinterlands and I am sure you too agree with that and gearing up for the Conclave Arcana edition cards with packs opening and playing with those cards, isn't it?
Me too!!! I brought 100 standard packs and few starter packs as well and I will continue to buy as and when I have some Crypto available to spend and these blogging activities will help in that cause for me.
I am writing this blog about this week's Social Media Challenge and sharing a battle to emphasize on the importance of shatter ability monster especially against Water splinter monsters where, most of those have armors and here I share the details of a battle with a shatter ability monster in Moosa Saline, a rewards card.
So, let's go and explore on the battle.

Battle and Lineup:

https://splinterlands.com/battle/sl_36b224f76ff08c1c9293488b93c5a273?ref=coolguy123
This battle I am sharing is a little league battle with deflection field and taking sides as other 2 rule sets apart from little league and battle had 28 MANA cost cap for this battle.
Water being my favorite splinter, I used the same for this battle and Musa Saline being the main hero in this battle.
Let me share the lineup and other details as below:
Lineup:
1. Cruel Sethropod:

Front monster always play a great role in any Splinterlands battle and Cruel Sethropod being my front monster this time which is with 6 armors, 7 health and provides 3 melee attack for just 3 MANA cost.
With Merdaali Guardian always available and affordable in this little league battle, it's always wise to use a monster with more armors at the front and Merdaali Guardian keeps repairing and refilling the health.
2. Tide Biter:

Tide Biter is another 3 MANA cost monster with 3 melee attack and has 6 health and great speed at 4.
He is a perfect ally to attack early and keep targeting the front monster on other side even from Second position being a reach ability monster.
3. Musa Saline:

This is the monster I want to highlight in this battle as this is the one with shatter ability and was of great help in removing the armors completely and also remove extra abilities with dispel ability besides it's 2 magic attack.
It is also a monster with scavenger ability and will keep increasing it's health whenever a monster dies on either side.
4. Shock Trooper:

This monster needs to be used with caution as it is with an ability which reduces the health for all ally monsters with 1 health reduced in each round from all monsters.
But, the good thing is, it also gives 5 magic attack and it also increases the speed of all the ally monsters with swift ability.
5. Merdaali Guardian:

The tank healer and also the repairer in this lineup is this Merdaali Guardian and it also strengthens by increasing the health for all ally monsters.
This no attack monster is highly regarded for the abilities it offers.
6. Angelic Mandarin:

Last on my lineup is this, 3 MANA cost monster with ranged attack and that is Angelic Mandarin.
It's more famous for the triage ability and ability to reduce the magic attack from opponent's monsters.

So, that lineup I used, was better one compared to the one used by my opponent as the Musa Saline's ability to remove armors was of great help and was beneficial in winning the battle for me.

It's always great to write about Splinterlands and I am still waiting to open the packs I have purchased from Conclave Arcana edition as I am still creating the midnight potions which are required for getting black and Arcana edition cards and hoping to get atleast One when I open the packs once I could have enough midnight potions.
It's all exciting right now with new edition cards available for use soon. With new abilities and also most probably new rule sets added thru the new edition, there are more reasons to play the Splinterlands battles now and I am looking forward to playing battles with new set of cards and the new summoners too.
That's it from my side in this battle and I will look forward to be a more regular blogger in the coming days.
Thanks and Happy weekend, see you soon.
Thanks and Have a good day :)

Congratz on buying 100 CA packs Coolguy. Also, I liked watching your battle and using these 2 magic monsters in the middle while protecting your front with cruel and tide was a great strategy! Thanks for sharing the battle steps. Keep playing and growing your account.
Thank you @mango-juice, I would like to buy few more packs in the future.
Regarding the battle, yes, these little league battles are always better with Water splinter as we have so many options with it.
Have a great weekend :)
Glad to see you are planning on expanding your collection coolguy, hope your cards become stronger over time while you continue to climb the trophy ladder.
