With Robots always set a boundary
When I saw this post, I thought that if this thing reaches Nigeria, there will be a serious problem, especially if it's made affordable for everyone. Many companies will buy it, especially those that don't pay well. It feels like they are paying workers too much for their services. One thing I know is no amount of robots produced can ever replace humans.
Because robots are limited by the amount of intelligent information you build inside them, there has to be constant maintenance to prevent malfunctions. Imagine a robot malfunctioning while handling an important project; it would be complete chaos, or the robot chasing the boss around the office to strangle him because it is malfunctioning.
Everything that is created by humans has advantages and disadvantages.
Having a robot at home to help with every single household chore like cooking, cleaning, and washing clothes wouldn't be a bad idea at all. I sometimes need help with household chores, especially on Saturdays, which happen to be my resting days from work.
Monday to Friday, I am always busy with work. At times, I come back home very tired and lazy to even prepare something to eat or tidy up the house, which I might have scattered while looking for something in the morning before work.
Some Sundays, when visitors are plentiful in the house, and we have to serve each one, we still manage to arrange the house well for house fellowship after the visitors have left. It can be tiring. During those periods, I wish I had a robot that could do all the cleaning and even entertain the visitors for me.
But then again, having a robot that does everything for you, some will say it will make you lazy. I don't think so because it's almost the same thing as having a chef, a nanny, and a live-in house help. You still get to do nothing but dish out orders to your workers while you check how far they have progressed in their work.
Whenever the chef is done cooking, he only calls you after he has finished cooking. Afterward, he must ask you what you want for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The only slight difference is that the nanny, being as human as she is, can take care of babies. She knows how to change their diapers, rock them to sleep, sing to them, and can easily identify exactly what is wrong with them, especially during those times when they cry.
Let a robot handle all the house chores, I don't mind. But you see, cooking and taking care of the children, no way, because what are they going to learn from them? Nothing. He can guide them if by chance I step out, but as for cuddling them, no way. In fact, there will be a limit to what the robot will do in my house.
In case it ever malfunctions, it won't destroy things. Apart from not being emotionally intelligent, can you imagine it holding a baby and it starts misbehaving? It might just squeeze my baby's neck or drop him on the floor. Currently, some countries are now depending on robots to do a lot of things, like serving in a restaurant.

The advantages attached to a robot doing chores is greater than having a nanny or a house help. Once you buy the robot you will only need maintenance but for a house help, you need to pay salaries continuously.. Sha, I won't go for it strongly because many people will loose their jobs and that won't be nice.
Exactly my point
Cooking robots are great but I love food made by my mother :)
Not beats a good made by a human
Yes, you're right some countries are now depending on robots to work for them especially in restaurants. Also i see no problem to have robots to help us but I will never depend on them too much because anything can happen. Though having robot is good because nowadays in some countries they are now depending on robots to do household chores such as laundering, cooking, washing, etc. But there are some things I will never allow robot to help me in case I have robot in the future.
Yes but people have lost their jobs
