Supporting research and embracing hope
Losing loved ones to an incurable disease can be very painful, especially when you have the money to spend on any kind of drugs or even surgery but alas! There is no cure. You try your best but to no avail.
I remember one time when I heard that there is a cure for cancer and it can only be obtained from soursop. If you eat it regularly, you won't have cancer, and the seed is used in making this drug that can cure it. I was so happy because we had a soursop tree in my compound. So if anyone gets ripe , am always the first person to pluck it, anyone can expect that I wasn't around.
Back then, my friend would always laugh at me and say, 'You are still young and yet you are afraid of cancer.' But being a science student back then, I knew how that illness can creep in and take one unaware if you are not careful. So whatever will prevent it from happening to me or my family members, I do it, even if it means grinding the seed and drinking it like tea.
Ever since then, I have always eaten soursop, just that it's very rare and expensive to get now. I remember when my friend was very ill, but she never told anybody that her breast was paining her. Until one day we went to a non-governmental organization awareness event about breast cancer and we were told that there is a free examination for anybody interested.
My friend was reluctant to go for the free test, but I urged her to come with me. Not that I know anything, but I just wanted to check. After all, there is no harm in trying. We went for the test and it was discovered that she has breast cancer, which was in an early stage.
God! We both were cold and still find it difficult to believe because what was like a joke has turned into reality. We went back and reran the test. I will say she is one of the luckiest people on earth because it was detected and cured before it could spread all over the breast. Since then, she has always gone for a test at least once every three months to avoid any issues.
If it is discovered that in my genes there is a cure for cancer and I need to be used as an experiment to extract the cure. Yes, I know it will cure many people, but there will need to be a written agreement. It can't be for free, and I will have to find out if it will have any negative effects on my body and how long they are going to explore my body. Because if it's the country that I am coming from, there must be a well-detailed written agreement signed and stamped with witnesses from other nations.
And if in the course of the experiment I feel any serious discomfort, it has to be stopped. I want to save lives, not sacrifice mine.

Thank 💕 you for stopping by my blog
An intelligent decision in your case, I really think that I would not allow experiments to do with me, because these long pharmaceutical corporations do not matter how many legal agreements are made, ending what they think, only to obtain economic benefits. So it would be a difficult decision to take, well in my case not, because I am a great misanthrope.
It is good to read that your friend could be saved in cancer time.
It's risky but what can we do
As I see it, you can only let them do experiments with you or deny you. I opt for the second
I hope you don't hate me much for thinking about this way 😀
Though the news is heart breaking, its actually a good thing that she discovered it on time. i know of people that died because of this disease.
You're really kind hearted to want to save the world.
Yes I never like to see people suffer
