Smiles for sell

In our current world emotions are already seen as transaction. People toy with other emotions just to feel better. Love becomes a transaction. In a world where emotions are used as a transaction. There will be a big problem. Happiness will become gold, trade for food and shelter. While sadness and anger would become a tax. People will guide their feelings like wallets, faking joy to stay rich and hiding pain to avoid been seen as poor.

Imagine your heart holding the means of your survival, you will treasure it with everything you got. What will happen to those who feel grief, pain and loneliness. Because we are human, there is no way we will not feel sadness or pain.. That means whoever feels pain or grief will become a poor person, because definitely that person will struggle to make ends means in a world that punishes sadness.

At first it might sound very beautiful and appealing in the ear, a world that is by your feeling you get rich. That's where the world fake it until you make it will began. Many people will try to be kind, generous and gentle just so they can earn more emotional wealth. Fake laughter will be echoing in every corner of the street of a nation. But one thing is certain beneath that surface lies a darker truth not all emotions are genuine. People will wear joy like a mask, and kindness will be traded for a coin

I think the first millionaires will be artist, therapists, psychologists and those who can truly express or read emotions. They can harness deep feelings and turn them to valuable energy. If you are battling depression and heartbreak,bankruptcy that will be your name. People will troll your feeling, cause sadness will be seen as a weakness and many will be forced to suppress their emotions so they can belong. There will be a carefully crafted smile everywhere.

Nothing has happened and, relationship this day doesn't even last.That is when relationship will suffer more, people might start choosing their partners not out of love but for emotional gain.Trust will surely become rare, at least we can actually trust a few or two around us now but then, No one can tell who truly cares and who just wants to buy more happiness. What of families, they might start treasuring their worth by how much joy they can produce together.

If such thing ever happens, they world will lose its essence which is humanity. Because by turning emotions into trade, people would forget what it means to have real feelings.
