Popular statement I don't agree with
Hello everyone, welcome to my blog. His week's prompt is very interesting topics And i likes it a lot.
There are many popular statements that I honestly don't agree with at all, cause some of them might have a good reason for the statement but I still refuse to agree with it.
Every Disappointment Is A Blessing.
Who on earth came up with this statement, because so many things have happened to me that is not a blessing. I think this statement should be every disappointment is a blessing and a lesson, yes, some Disappointment is not a blessing but rather a lesson learned the hard way.
Imagine a scenario where you have prepared for bidding, tender your proposal, and every single document that they asked for you have tried all your possible best to bring it. This is a huge contract coming from the government and everybody is trying to be the one that the contract is awarded to. Then finally it is awarded to you but you have to use your money and start the contract, when you get to a certain level, that's when the government will release funds for you. You took loan and started the contract halfway for the government to fund you half of what you have spent and boom, a new government replaces that one. Now you fighting to get your money back even if it's just to pay off your loan but no way. And someone is telling you that every disappointment is a blessing, my dear is a lesson, not a blessing cause you will lose everything you have labored for your money, property that you must have used as collateral. What makes this blessing?
WHATEVER YOU LOST IS NOT YOURS
This statement here is very annoying to someone who just lost his property. I was coming back from a night vigil, just a street after my street. I decided to follow a shortcut so I could get home fast and have a rest. Just then some armed guy double-crossed me with a gun and asked me to give them my phone, money any valuables that were with me and you are saying that the property was not mine.
Something that I bought with my hard-earned money. If it's not mine, it's the armed robber's own. Did they buy it for me or did I borrow it from them?
I honestly disagree with this statement.
