Love is never enough

Today's topic just came in right, cause this institution called marriage is becoming something else nowadays. People now marry for all the wrong reasons, and they are not even doing anything to change it but are going deep with a negative mindset.

These days, people marry for the wrong reasons, and that's where there is a prenup agreement to sign. Women are getting greedy, and men are getting greedy, too. Ask some young ladies why they are getting married, and you will hear reasons like I don't want it to look like my character is the worst, I just want to have children with one man, and another will tell you, cause I don't want to be paying rent and buying food stuff again.

Now, ask most young men why they want to get married; some will say because I am tired of doing my laundry by myself and cooking my food. I don't want to fornicate with different women as it is a sin; let me marry so I can know that am not committing sin.

Ask some ladies what they want in a man, and you will hear, I want a man with the fear of God, tall, dark, and very rich that won't stress me. As some young men, you hear the saying let her be tall, slim with a curved shape and a big front.

The majority don't know the main purpose of marriage, and this is why a prenup agreement comes in. What foreign women are doing to men now is alarming; how can they acquire half of someone years of sweat for some makeup story just because they are tired. I heard a story of one. I don't know if he's a coach or a football, losing half of his wealth.

I think I support this prenup; let it be stated that whatever you acquire before you marry me should be for the kids, and whatever you acquire after you marry will be shared in two on strong evidence of cheating, domestic violence, and any other life-threatening issues.

If a prenuptial agreement states that anybody who cheats or acts violence towards the opposite stands to lose everything, you will see some marriages won't break, and some won't even happen. With the heart of me being desperately wicked, love is no longer enough in marriage.

Without a prenuptial agreement in the picture at times, family members tend to take all their brothers' wealth from their sister-in-law should anything happen to their brother.

Even my pastor always says that love is never enough in the marriage, cause love fade with time, although it still comes come, keep dating even if you are married, but what keeps it good is understanding, fear of God, and tolerance. Another issue is that women are not made to love but respect a man, and the man is to love the woman as Christ loves the church, which is what the Bible says. I think because we are not following the biblical standard of marriage, that's why we are having all this plenty issues right now.

Just pray to marry a man or woman who is kind and loving, genuinely respects and loves you for you.
