The Comedy Open Mic Weekly Showcase
Greetings
This is our weekly showcase where we highlight posts in this community shared here in the last seven days. These are the posts that have impressed us at COM the most.
Now, let's get into this week's showcase.
@marajah - My unforgettable childhood funny experiences.
Who else could remember some of his or her childhood funny experiences? Or, are you trying to hide them? hmmmm, you better let the cat out of the bag by yourself ooo, else, I will unveil it publicly. Anyway, you know me naa, and you're aware that I have known you right from infancy down to this day.
This was really interesting to read, different scenarios shared with different things to laugh about. A really good compilation of her childhood experiences.

@writermaximus - THINGS YOU CAN'T DO AS A BROKE PERSON
And apart from the normal day implications like not eating 3 square meals a day and thinking about your life.
There are certain limitations that are inflicted upon you.
There are some special things you can't do or say or even call yourself.
And those things are what we're going to be talking about today.
If you're broke right now, then welcome to my TED talk.
And I hope you don't stay broke for long
cuz that shi hurts
The category seem to be adding more persons than only the broke ones, you should check it out to know if you would need to work harder and race away from brokenness.

@supernova004 - MY INTIMATE CHIT-CHAT WITH HUNGER
I made one very big mistake yesterday which would have un-alived me. I went and had fruit salad for dinner yesterday. Something I had never done before but thought to try since there's no harm in trying plus staying fit, alright?
And just about an hour before midnight, I started to feel the harm in my trying. The rumbling in my stomach was far away from being royal.
A mistake he would remember for a long time and wouldn't want to repeat. Good thing he stayed alive to write his experience so others can learn.

@emreal - Different Reactions To Heart Break
Nothing hurts like heart break, some months ago I remember how I spent three days without food and sobbing all night. After I healed I realized how much I have made a fool of myself and decided that I won't be the fool around. I knew somehow that there are more fools than I am out there and I bet you I wasn't wrong at all.
Read closely and tell us which class you belong to, we will not laugh, at you, no need to be ashamed my friend, such is life. it is breakfast everyone here is acquainted with it. A fool is always a fool just embrace it okay!
After facing the harshness of breakup, he decided to pour his anger on others by saying it out loud where they fall into when they face heartbreak or when they finally do. Check to find yours now.

@micheal87 - I Left Serving A Smaller Punishment To A Bigger One
We all know kids love to play and when we were very much younger, we could all agree that we love playing which was part of us then when we were very much younger. I love to play with my friends then but sometimes my mum doesn't allow me go out and whenever am opportuned to do so, I sneak out without bothering what might happen whether I will be punished or not.
The title could have been "Adding the bigger punishment to the smaller one for full lessons" because this author actually did that in his story on this COM post.

@kingsleyy - They can trade unimaginable things
They can sell anything that's both sellable and not sellable. If they have access to our creator, they'll make a fortune from selling unimaginable things. Imagine the Igbos selling God's Breath, packaged in a transparent nylon.
Hive was mentioned somewhere really funny in this post, the author also showed his knowledge of people who know how to make sales in Nigeria.
