Getting Fancy Downtown

As you can probably tell, downtown Louisville is pretty fancy. It's got a floodwall and everything. Almost too fancy for my camera.

Not this guy. He seemed to fancy himself something or other. Nobody much fancied him though.

Even the street preachers were getting fancy. Too fancy for soapboxes even, they showed up with a PA system and a stepladder to talk down to you from. Even that wasn't as fancy as that facial hair...

You know a church is fancy when it isn't centered around fear. Almost fancy-free, at least in comparison to the angry types shouting from the sidewalks.

Fancy boomboxes are just the thing to neutralize that sort of noise. I thought boomboxes went extinct a while ago? Nothing says fancy quite like an impromptu dance party, no?

Well, maybe fancy fan flipping. Those things were snapping almost as much as my camera. For some reason it made me miss my fancy butterfly knife.

Finally, photographic proof! How can you argue with that?

Seriously man, it was the first thing I saw. Brushing shoulders with the rich and famous in downtown Louisville. Just another day in the life of you. 😁

Told you it was fancy! Must have blocked out Mr. Timberlake back in middle school, I totally missed that.

I want to say the fan flipper is the fanciest, but I'm also tempted to hand it to MR free-hugs 😅

Fancy photos 🤌🙌🏾

Holy uneven mutton chops batman. Maybe if he wasn't so homophobic he could ask a gay man for advice

Ambrose Burnside called, said you're doing it wrong. For as much time as he spent talking to them you'd have thought he would have asked but I guess he was afraid to.

The black and white photos are spectacular, it reminds me of the time when there was no color, I love the expressions of the people.

Thank you! I feel like black and white cuts out a lot of the distractions in a photo and lets you see it better/differently. Ha, people's expressions are half the fun of street photography :)

I don't believe in god but I'd totally go to Free Hugs Church. Right after I set a King James bible on fire and threw it at that closeted gay dude on Jacob's stepladder.

I am rather the opposite. I have faith (I believe in God), but I very rarely go to church. I do not really follow any religion.

To each his own I suppose. I grew up in a very strict form of Christianity. It was actually quite toxic. I left the church in my early 20s and never looked back. If there is a god, it's definitely not the god they taught me about when I was a kid.

This man has very good though. All of us should love each other in the same way. I really like black and white version pictures.
