The Rise of Everyday Creators

There is something very important happening in our digital world. But it is silent. It is a silent shift. Every day more and more individuals are getting into the act of content creation. Be it videos, vlogs, blogs, stories, tutorials, or whatever. Few people are beginning to realise this shift and there still even majority of people who haven't notice it. But over time, the wave of creation will affect how we live on the internet.
During the early days of the internet, many individuals shared their ideas and knowledge just to for sharing sake or out of fun and passion. Many of the best writers, teachers and thinkers shared content freely and they didn't expect any compensation. While the contents they produced was valuable to many, they didn't derive any value. In those days it was more about connections than cash.
But in recent times the internet landscapes seems to be changing fast. The digital world now offers many avenues for individuals to generate income from their content. You don't need to be a celebrity with millions of followers. You just need to create something useful, interesting, or entertaining. Little by little, people are starting to realize that they can monetize their hobbies, thoughts or stories.
The amount of social platforms are increasing and many now offer small compensation for quality content, or they offer gifting or tipping options for a creator's content. Some allow earnings based on your content through likes, shares, or the viewing time. It's a new era of creative expression, where people are still figuring it out how they can make the most of it and to many who have discovered the opportunity already, it has become their full time job.
Although the term “content creator” used to be used only for professionals, but the narrative around it seems to changing with everyone giving the opportunity to be a creator. In a world where attention is our powerful currency now, one way to grow, connect, or stay relevant is by sharing utilising this resource well. Whether you enjoy teaching, storytelling, designing, or simply talking about your life there is a space for you for creation and compensation.

In my journey of content creation, I have actually discovered Hive as the biggest revolution in terms of blockchain based content creation platforms. Most of here already know how even by simply engaging you receive rewards from others which is a real value for you as a creator. Yout time, efforts and any other kind of engagement pays off as the platform itself rewards you for using it to create value.
Even though several traditional platforms are beginning replicate this model but those of us already exploring Hive knows this revolution is something unmatched. My point is this: with time, we would see a tremendous amount of people than we do now taking use of everything that content creation offers. We are shifting away from producing content just to entertain or educate others but just so we can own what is ours, have our freedom, build meaningful connection with an audience and above all receive great value for doing so. For this reason, content creation is becoming a lifestyle, a way to empower yourself.
When you create content, you build digital real estates, their value that stays with you, continually, you to earn revenue over time. We are seeing an age of voice, and in all likelihood, every voice has the ability to be heard as a result of the diverse platforms coming up. There is beauty in content creation nowadays, every person can become a creator, no need to have a perfect start, no need need of fancy equipment and scripts but just a message, a perspective or an information which is interesting and worth sharing.
Hive is a masterpiece I must say. It goes beyond earning, it offers knowledge, builds one's creative and also creates a solid connection. It's amazing how on hive everyone is genuinely rooting for you and wants to see you win 🤲🏿
Hmmm! I must say that hive made me a content creator that I never thought of been. People no longer create content for free and we can't even if we want anymore because of the cost of data.
