Project Completion In Sight

Work on Hive Boreholes are steadily progressing and is scheduled for closure next week. Currently, we are concurrently managing the construction of two boreholes in Asamankama. This project involves both the renovation of an existing hand-powered borehole and the construction of a new one. The new borehole has been successfully completed, and work is currently in progress on the renovation of the second existing borehole.
We began the 12th mechanized borehole two weeks ago, and while work was ongoing, community leaders expressed concerns to us about how we could best expand the project to cater to most of the community members in Asamankama town. They requested that the old borehole, which was damaged, be repaired for them. This hand-powered borehole has been damaged and left unused for many years, and if renovated, it could also become a lifesaver, helping more people access portable water.
It was such great news for them when, with the support of the Hive ecosystem, it was decided that the old borehole should be renovated and brought back into operation. We are glad to see additional efforts toward our commitment to providing clean water to those in need. The old hand pump has been replaced with a mechanized pump, and we are working on the project's structural development to give it a good look, like all the Hive Boreholes we have constructed.

This has been a great endeavor in our quest to provide many people with access to water, and we are grateful for the support we have received so far in making this a reality. The Asamankama community is indeed thrilled with the transformation brought about by Hive in the area and anticipates the project's launch to make the two water boreholes available for community use soon. We anticipate a great turnout for the launch event, which we plan to have next week.
In all, this has been a life-changing endeavor through which many people will be able to access free, portable water in the days ahead. Our sincerest thanks go out to everyone on Hive who has supported us in making all of this a reality. We (@mcsamm and @collinz) will continue to keep the Hive community updated on any new developments. Thanks for your attention.
