Moving Together, Thriving Together

The more I watch birds like the ones I shared in this post, the more learn something very important for life. Take a lot at these geese for example, they are always together. They do not separate, whether it is on the water or walking down the path. It is an impressive sight, and I see there are life lessons to take away. At first, it does not seem like a big deal. Birds do that; they flock. But when I look more closely, they check on each other.

They each do not leave anyone behind. They have a closeness, they stick together, they stay together. And then it struck me: why do they do that, and what can I learn? In life, many people do things alone. Being independent is a sign of strength for most of us. But the truth is, we aren't meant to move on our own in every journey in life. We have more value in being together, like those birds.

For those birds, moving together does not mean losing themselves, it means being there for each other. One bird does not always lead. They take turns. When one bird gets tired, another bird will take the lead. They simply keep moving. It is the same as us; we will all need a little push at some time. If we can walk together, we can walk longer. I have started to see that being part of a group or community only serves to develop us.

It gives us the comfort we need when times are tough and the joy we need when times are good. It is in our walking together that we learn patience, kindness, and tolerance. There is a sense of calm knowing you are not alone. Be it your family, your friends, or only your team; it doesn't matter, advancing together gives greater strength to the collective. If one is struggling, the others can support plainly. If one is moving forward, the others can join them.

Even in silence, just being close by is impactful. Like those geese, we do not have to communicate; we have to be there for each other. It does not mean we will agree. Or that we will arrive at the same time. There may be some space back and forth. Or that one may be completely off course for one moment of time. But again, the wonderful thing is we come back together, time after time.

We all need to understand that being together is what makes us strong and makes us thrive. It allows us to go through life challenges without breaking. It shows us we belong somewhere and we allow others to belong to us. One of best feeling in life is knowing that is when in times of trouble, there will be those who will be with you. So it's very important to belong in a company of people that would be there for you, life can really be tough a times when it's just you and no one stand for you.

Perfect analogy.

Being alone can be boredom. It could also mean one not wanting to compromise certain character traits to accommodate others.

Living together or associating with others teaches one to be patient and loving, knowing fully well that we cannot all behave alike.

Thanks immensely for sharing, great post.👍

Nature teaches us how to live and how to go about things but sometimes we just don't get the message, this only shows how we cannot do life alone but together and with the right support from people around us we can.

Togetherness is strength, most people do not know, at some point, they will think it's "see finish" but the truth is that, it doesn't make any sense to die in silence. Every hand needs a helping hand sometimes.

I like what those geese are doing.
