Hive Community Borehole: Structural development

This week marks the second week since we began the construction of the twelfth borehole in Ghana. Work has been progressing steadily, and we are glad to see the water flowing in abundance for the Asamankama community residents, whose urgent need for water has caused them to fetch water while the project work is ongoing.

We are excited to see phase one finally completed, with phase two taking good shape. I would say that most of the work has been done so far. Currently, we are still in phase two, where a series of construction work is taking place. The phase began with excavation for the foundation, followed by the construction of the tap wall and the water tank tower.

This construction takes some days to be completed, and we commend the efforts of the building contractors who have done great work so far.
Just as we have done on all project work, all work phases should be completed within the three-week timeline we always set. This work process has been speedy due to the great teamwork demonstrated by the drillers and the building contractors.

We have had discussions with the community leaders regarding the plans for the launch of the borehole. This launch ceremony forms the last aspect or phase of the project work. This last phase is very crucial, as it provides us with the opportunity to unveil the new project, make it available for community use, and serves as a great opportunity to share about the Hive Impacts with the rest of Ghanaians and the world.

The media always serves as a tool with which we cover the events and share what's happening with Web 3 in the real world. Indeed, Hive has shown the world that it's capable of changing lives through the water boreholes, which is why this last phase is always carefully planned.

It has been a great journey to have reached the 12th borehole, and we are proud of the fact that these projects have become a reference point for many people to believe more in Hive's ability to change lives.
