The result of my generosity has come out today

On the year 2015 I won a bet, it was a big sum of money and by that time, I didn't know what to do with money, If it was now, I will have put the money to good used, like using it to start a small scale business, but by that time, I was about writing JAMB, and proceed my studies into an higher institution of my choice.

How I was lucky to won this bet? it was that I dream about it and I told the dream to someone and the person interpret it for me, that the numbers I see in the dream was a coupon number, so I should play it if there is money on me, I did have some money that my uncle gave to me before he left to the state, so I stake the numbers with the little money that was available with me, surprisingly, I won the games, it was about six numbers, and all of it draw for the week.

In those period of time, i was on money a lot of friends used to call me, some friends I didn't have their numbers anymore were calling me too, and some call's were like billing and at some point, I will obey and do the needful, I was happy doing it because I was told that generosity is good, yet I thought because I was being generous the money I have spent, will immediately make more money to continue to come locate me.

Those of my friends that was staying around me did the worst, once it's day time they will come, my house was turning to a gathering square, we will cook chicken pepper soup, it was the common meals we used to prepare, because we were so keen to it, we also drink and do all other things, and because the money was there, it was a thing of joy to me, I didn't bother of anything, I thought when I am checking my piggy bank the next week that the remaining money was going to double up.

Then I was spending the one at hands with friends, and it gotten to when the money were no more, all of them leave and never show back at my house, even when I will call them to come, so that we continue to spent times together, they were not making theirself available for me anymore, just because the money was not there as it used to be.

I used to look at my phone expecting each of their calls as it where before but I would not see any calls or texts messages from anybody, I learned a big lesson that a giver can still lack when he gives stupidly and does not have some money reserve for himself, because, it is not the people you give something to that is going to give you back but it will be someone else that is going to pay you back those generosity's.

Yet it was too late for me to know this and when I started the higher institution as my JAMB result came out good, one of my friend was in that same school, we sent greetings to each other whenever we came across one another in the school environment, but we were unable to hang out because our courses of studies didn't permit us to do so.

Since we were in different departments, if he is free to hang out with me, I will not be chance and if I am free to hang out with him, so as times goes on, he say something to people about me, that got me thinking why why will he say such a thing about his friend.

I heard it that was him who said that, "if I am with money, I will do like I am the owner of the whole universe", meanwhile, I do not behave that way, I have to think why would he say such a thing to me, and then I realized that it is because of the bet I won, and it was not like he didn't used to come around and enjoy with me, he used to but it's still that same him that is saying those things to me.

This post is not made to counter the ideology of generosity, it's just a constructive of words put together to create a fun atmosphere. In real sense, generous people will received blessings of their good kindness, that's for sure. Thanks, I am happy that you like my post.
