Zerodha Getting Into US Investing
Recently Zerodha founder told that they are integrating with GIFT City so that users will be able to invest in the US Stocks. Gift City or Gujarat International Finance Tec-City is designed to become a global and technological hub. Now the thing is, it is a good news for all the users of Zerodha. We have couple of good platform to invest in the US stocks like IndMoney, Vested etc. But it's better to have more platform so that users can get more options.
For the Indian Stock investment we have so many options and it's a good thing for users because they can try everything out to see which is working great for him. And same thing happens with any financial investments. And that's why having Zrrodha in this space is also good.
I have been investing in the US stock market from IndMoney. Now if Zerodha would have been there from the starting. I wouldn't have to open an account in a new app. Everything could have been in a single app. And that's why having everything in one app is helpful for the users. Sometimes its not good because if that app goes down then all your investment is stuck but that is rare.
I have been asked several times that why invest through US stocks, when we can invest in Indian ETF or mutual fund in US.
The problem is that when you invest through Indian Market, there is a cap introduced by the RBI and that's why the NAV or Net Asset Value differs. So investing directly in the US Stock market is better option than investing through the Indian market. Also in the US stock market you have much more options to invest which is not there in the Indian Stock Market. And that's why having the account to invest in the US stock market is a better option.
