Tinder Cafe Fraud

A lot of young people are on Tinder where they go for dates or meet like minded people. It is there for long, though I never used it but heard a lot of stories about how some people get scammed on dates. What happens is that a guy and girl swipped right and thus they are a match.

Now the girl asked the boy to come to some Cafe citing it is close to their homes and they cannot travel far. Now they order expensive food, alcohol and what not. And at the last the poor guy have to pay the entire bill which usually comes to a high amount. Now the Cafe owner as well as the girl have some kind of setup for this fraud. They lure the guys to these Cafe only to exploit them for the money.

And this is getting quite common, these girls get their cut from the Cafe owner and thus they have to lure the guys and they are handsomely paid for the act. And the guys who wants to go for date are getting scammed. So the note for the guys out there is to carefully select the Cafe and try to avoid those girls as much as possible.

The problem is these types of scams will continue to rise in the future because people will fell pray for this. The unemployment rise will make people try to scam people in different ways. We have seen how the Cops called you onthe Video Call and digital arrest you, which is again a scam. So the scam is increasing rapidly and thus we have to try to not fell for this types of scams. I have seen people losing lakhs of money because of trading scam, cyber theft and what not. When in doubt try to take suggestion from near and dear ones or the financial who knows these types of scams.
