Getting Important Info from Reddit

Lately I am spending a lot of time on Reddit mostly because of the information I am getting from it. There are a lot of subreddits out there but mostly I spend time of some of the subreddit which actually provides the value.

For example, one of the subreddit I spend time on is CreditCardIndia, in which I get important information about the credit cards, offers going on currently and what not. It also helped me to optimize some of my cards and helped me to get rid of some of the not so good cards. Like recently there was a offer on SBICard which gives 5% cashback on HP Pay voucher. Now it helped to save around 5% on my fuel transactions. Similarly I wanted a credit card for IRCTC transactions for free and I got the information that Ixigo AU card is free for some time and I got it.

Next there is one more subreddit called FireInIndia, where I am getting informational about how people are actually working towards their FIRE and who has done it, then how they are managing their time or the money they have earned.

Along with that it's easy to find information regarding tourism of some place anywhere around the world because people give first hand experience about the same. Similarly there are so many subreddits which actually imparts so much knowledge. I might not be writing in it but I read a lot of things and learn from it.

We should also have such knowledge built on Hive too, but the problem is that Redidt has a huge user base. Hive is still new and it will take some time to achieve Rediit like engagement on Hive. But I am hopeful that one day we might achieve it with the help of all the people on Hive and might be that's where I can ditch Reddit and spend more time on Hive reading to gain more knowledge.
