Bike Taxi Suspended

In Bangalore we have a limited public transport and thus there is no last mile connectivity. Last mile connectivity means that from home or office to the bus stopor any public transport stop is quite far. And because of that a lot of businesses has started but all failed. Like there was a Bounce bike which you can rent from anywhere and drop anywhere.

But people used it very roughly and thus the startup has to close down. It was a great last mile connectivity who doesn't have the vehicle at home. Now there was another option for people, which is bike taxi. In this you can actually go to any places ik the bike. This was again very less costly option for people for that last mile connectivity. But the problem was the bike taxi gas taken up business from Auto. And because of that the auto union has put a case on bike taxi.

And thus the court has ordered to stop the bike taxi citing safety. But the problem is now people have to pay extra for that last mile connectivity as well as the auto is taking a lot of time to get booked at the peak hours. This was also done with the help of policticians. The auto guys where a vote bank of the policticians whereas the bike taxi were not much. And thus policticians have to side with auto and thus the bike taxi has been banned.

I have also used the bike taxi and trust me when you have to go somewhere fast, this was the best option. Now since it is banned, we don't have the option of bike taxi. And thus we either have to pay extra and use auto or we can spend some time and walk towards the bus stop and use the public transport.
