$100K H1B US Visa

A lot of theories are going around for the $100K Visa fees and that is actually making people anxious. So when the order was signed people thought it was a yearly price of the Visa which is a huge sum of money but the things are getting clear now. What I know so far is that

1. The $100K is only applicable for the new Visa application.
2. The renewal costs will be less only.
3. Whoever has the Visa, they can freely come and go to US without any restrictions.

Now with this people are little calmed because whoever has the valid Visa they don't have to panic. But people who are dreaming of going to study in US and eventually work there using the H1B, then for them it will not work as the fees is quite high. I am not talking about is it good or bad but when one door closes there are other gets open.

The companies will try to hire local talent more so that the US people will get more jobs. Similarly there might be some jobs going to the offshore top which will help the companies to lower the cost. With the AI into picture, companies will try to save more money by reducing the headcount. So it can happen that offshore team will be removed all together and only people in the US will get job. So let's see how it is going to happen in the future.

But if you are in IT, this is your chance to increase your savings and invest as much as possible because there is tough time in the job market for atleast 2 to 3 years. Whoever has the stable job, they should continue to hold on to it rather than trying to run after the money because stable job is much more than money as of now. Who knows the company you are going might lay off you in some months. But when you are in stable job that is much better option.
