What hive has done for Me

Here we are again on the hive blockchain where dreams become reality. It is not always easy starting something new, the feeling of uncertainty, the fear of the unknown and the potential of failure is overwhelmingly terrifying but in the end it is also things that challenge us end up becoming the best decisions made even when they don't seem that way at first and for me the hive block chain happens to be one of such experiences.

Surfing the Internet, I am no stranger to the word 'web 3' as I always hear tech content creators make posts about it especially on social media but since I felt it required rigorous tech skills to navigate it's terrains and could not even grasp the basically of what it entails, I concluded it was not for me- completely ignoring THE CITY OF DREAMS until the perfect opportunity came knocking.

Sometime around April last year a friend of mine @favecandy told me she was part of a platform that is open to authenticity with positive sanctions attached to it for every contribution made towards its growth. At first I was a bit skeptical about it as I have fallen victim to the sweet tongues of scammers on the internet in my quest for knowledge but I told her to keep me posted because if it was truly what she claimed it is, I was bound to be interested. Flashforward it was, she introduced me to @ovey10 and thus began my journey within the blockchain.

Just like I stated earlier, starting something new is never easy and hive is no different but despite these challenges, being a part of the block projected me to heights i never knew I could ever reach. For all the good hive has done, the one thing that stands out the most was igniting my passion for writing. My initial plan was to join a music themed communities and make contents that revolved around that field but after my first two write-ups, I realized my writings were not as terrible as I imagined them to be motivating me to put in more effort to get more results. I have always viewed writers as sophisticated individuals who have the power to describe the world from their own eyes and thanks to this incredible space, I am beginning to unlock this hidden gem I always believed was out of my reach. It has not been easy though, the @hive-reachout community has continued to support newbies in areas of difficulties and also provide the necessary weekly prompts to aid growth as full fledged writers or close enough at the very least.
Another thing I am extremely grateful to hive for is getting me in touch with the anime community. Being a weeb, this has helped me connect with like minded folks creating a haven where I can express myself freely without any form of restraint. If there's one thing I love about Hive, is the fact that there is a place for everyone. I am yet to explore the movie communities I stumbled on by accident but with time I intend to exploit all its activities to the fullest.

Starting my journey in the blockchain was not easy but it has been completely rewarding. I am learning new things everyday and able to identify emerging trends and patterns. As I continue to navigate even further within the blockchain, I am excited to see how it will continue to shape my life and boost my understanding about the realm that is web 3.
I thought love was only true in fairy tales but look at me now, in an intimate relationship with the Hive block chain.
