Good Hivers, welcome another edition of Hive music community I remain my humble self @coderaikiri and my entry for this week is a song super close to heart - Take a bow by the favorite artist of my immediate elder sister the pop icon Rihanna.
My immediate elder sibling transition from too many artists when I was a kid. First it was Celine Dion, next Shakira's hips don't lie became her anthem after that it was Beyonce until she finally settled for Rihanna. As a youngster with limited options because I considered the baby and had to go on board with whatever they had on, I was either stuck with the choices of listening to whatever the wanted, sleeping or going outside to play. I hated sleeping especially at noon, I was not always allowed to go outside so I was stuck with listening to their preferences whether I liked it or not.
At first I hated those songs referring to them as to girlie for my masculinity but withy time I found myself singing along even going as far as enjoying it and becoming a fan.
Take a bow is a song about breaking up with a partner who is not committed to the relationship. Sometimes one just finds themselves giving it their 100% and investing completely into a relationship were the significant shows no effort other than lies, unseriousness and even worse cheating. This song just signifies standing up for yourself and getting rid of such toxicity to embrace your true self and what lays ahead. I hope you guys listen and enjoy
