Good everyone welcome to another week here on the hive music community I coderaikiri and this is a part of my story. It has really been awhile I posted on the beautiful platform so I'll do my best to make a good comeback impression. For my entry here, I'll be presenting a song cover to pay me so stay tuned because it is definitely going to be a doozy.
Oxlade is that artist known for dropping bangers yearly and pay me happens to one of such songs. I remember being put on this artist by a neighbor back in uni and this particular song was the one that just resonated to me almost immediately and I have been a fan ever since.
The song pay me talks about the repercussions of playing with a lover's heart. Just like the name implies there's absolutely no pay for breaking the heart of someone who genuinely loves you. I really liked how transformed a Bible verse into something so melodious : "what shall it profit a man to gain the world and lose a girl like you.... This is heavy in every which way. Truly oxlade deserves all the accolades cause he's That Guy..
