Good day everyone, welcome to another edition of Hive Learners Creative Sunday Initiative. I am coderaikiri and for my entry this wonderful Sunday, I'll be performing an acapella cover to the song "In the Garden" by Davido and Morravey.
People around me who know my taste in music can testify how much I don't really fancy Davido's work. Nevertheless that doesn't stop me from appreciating his songs especially the ones I find interesting. In the Garden is a track on the limitless album released in 2024. The song was actually the first track I liked in the entire album before getting hypnotized by "Kante". Morravey was actually a rising artiste at that time trying to prove herself and boy did she deliver.
The song talks about an aesthetically appealing individual in the garden who has the potential of becoming a romantic partner and if he/she gets into a relationship, their status is most definitely getting an upgrade. Now status upgrade can be interpreted in two directions financially and romantic wise(from single to tangled up)..... I hope I am able to do justice to it
