Greetings and salutations to my fellow hivers, welcome to another incredible week on the hive open mic community with an incredible theme for this week titled "Moving Mountains". I remain my humble self @coderaikiri and for my entry to this incredible opportunity I'll be presenting a cover to the song Against all odds by Westlife so stay tuned and let's get on this.
With a theme like this one needs to think out of the box to find something that tallys in every which way and luckily for me I happen to know one that does. As a little boy, Westlife was that boy band everyone around me seemed to love and that includes every direct member of my family. My sister bought a CD and against all odds was the second song on the list. I never really liked the song back then but unfortunately I had to listen to it because of my sisters and now I am grateful I did.
Just like the implies, Against all odds represents doing the impossible even when it seems hopeless. Moving mountains also represents impossibility that is being made possible through the sheer force of will and consistent effort. In this case it has to do with love, one that everyone keeps telling you that you are just wasting your time but despite the odds you still take that leap with hopes of coming out victorious......
The song holds an important meaning to me and will forever represent a period in my life when the only thing I had to worry about was what to eat for lunch..... I hope y'all enjoy this acapella version, THANKS FOR STOPPING BY
